I would consider this to be Millers best hood. I have the Digital Infinity and its got a big viewing area but it's a tad bit too heavy. My co-worker let me try his Miller Elite and this one is a lot lighter. It does have a smaller viewing area but not by a lot, you still see everything.
I personally have the raptor one but it’s one of the best welding hoods I’ve ever had compared to Lincoln or other hoods from my personal experience but it’s a great hood for anyone I think

Is the black hood a little more narrow than the graphic hoods?
They need to add an external grind button on the digital infinity. And the fact that they got the resting shade down to 2.5 isn’t half bad either.
Anyone know how to set it up for the autosense? I see the feature on the box but reading through the manual there’s no mention of it.

Only downside of the black elite is you puttting your finger prints everywhere on the lens when you add a new one, so annoying
That new head gear sucks way too flimsy
Feels that way but I’ve had mine for a while and it’s still holding up well. Doesn’t weigh down on your head
