Controversial opinion: This is WAAY better than the old one. Here she sounds like an amateur, which is realistic for an aspiring idol high school student. The old version had too much professional vocals, something that a high schooler couldn't have mastered at their age. (Plus here you can hear how much she is in love with Senpai due to her stuttering at 'love' related parts)

I don´t think it is a bad version of the song, I rather the old one, but i kinda like this one too, after hearing the old one tons of times sounds kinda different but I like it as it can be a "cover" or alternate version, hope it gets released in spotify soon.
I like how this one is an original cover because the first one who replaced Krexa just copied her way of singing, whilst on this one, she changes parts of the singing rythm wich makes it unique and good. Also love her foreign accent because now not everyone is a completely english speaking in a japaneses school (i might also like it because i have an accent too hehe but mine is like hers more than a cliché accent 😅)
