I watch these videos with interest, but now at the end of 2021, it surprises me that RC Guy hasn't made a video around Corally's response to these issues - revised HD hubs in wide/standard sizes to suit their entire range of Pivot Ball cars.
Don't get mad. Don't over analyse. Early adopters of new platforms encounter such glitches. You found a work around - good for you. Have you tried the new HD hubs? If you have, what do you make of them? If not, why not?
Where you crashed your XTR, rather than land it, did you consider - even for a moment - that your truck was NOT actually broken? It merely needed to be re-assembled.
"Corally always misses the mark". Okay, could you explain what platforms you base this conclusion on?
Team Corally produced World Championship winning 1/12th SP12 G2 platforms at France 1994 & SP12 X at Italy 2006 for David Spashett.
In 1/10th Touring Car, Corally won the European Championship with their first Touring car - the C4 in 1999 at Ashby with Andrew Griffiths behind the wheel....erm, sticks.
Corally has a long and successful history with RC and Electronics. From what I see, their Kronos XTR rig is a thing of beauty. There seems to be plenty of bashers getting their rigs well sorted for jumping or speed runs.
Out of the box electronics sees Kronos rigs running as quick on 4S as other brands on 6S, so early teething problems seem to have been worth persevering with.
The notably quieter drive trains, with precision cut gears, with more sorted internal ratios and lighter weight platforms see Corally throwing it down. This is great news for RC and IMO Arrma and Corally should form a special relationship to prevent 'that other make' bullying and dominating/monopolising the market.
Arrma might have 0.05mm bigger balls, but Corally have the bigger #*"@ - and by quite some margin - even if you take into account Team Durango's massively over-priced offerings from the past.

On your first bash vid; I commented that I’ve not seen anything yet which makes me want to spend my money on TC. I was called out for my not accepting TC and what they have to offer! The guy (not you…the original poster guy) ripped me a new one for not loving TC! I just acquiesced; as it was it worth having an argument over. But you just brutally proved to me once and for all…TC will not have a place on my shelf! Thanks for the great vids guy!
No TC for me, they have them here in Canada finally, but they are the same price as the Kraton. totally not fricken worth it..

Been there too Guy! Kronos V2 has non-adjustable links, snapped on first run. Swapped out to Losi 8ight-T links, much better. I was thinking about that fix you showed on the last run. If the pivot balls pops out one more time I'm going to that fix.

Dude...I called Team Corally yesterday frustrated and asked them what are we going to do about this $430 of crap. They told me they would call me back. 30 mins later they told me they had know idea this was happening. I told them that they could just go to the tube to see. I highly doubt they had no idea...Right! They asked me to send a video. Dude I took a chance and bought the Punisher and the Kronos XTR. Now I'm screaming double dang because of the last video I purchase some Arrma balls...Now I'm like OH No! Lol. I think I may try the Kraton 6s steering hubs...Absolutely love the video bro!
Did you set the droop screws ? If the a arm can flex further when it gets hyper extended it released the ball. If it was the top ball I would say it’s the ball but the shock absorbs those impacts. Upside down the shock rod and droop screw and ball end are the only parts supporting

Arrma has the same steering system and its not as bad as team corraly. Arrma takes a lot more effort to make them pop vs the team corraly ones

I have this from GPM in my Kraton v4, nothing popt out. But it needs the EXB-steering roods, the original can broke.
You do put in the Arrma-Roodend in the wrong way. The offset must be in the right of the center of the weel.

I have an XTR, I can confirm that I feel this same pain! I think that I never get to finish one battery pack without something falling off or breaking and I don't even bash like you have in this video.

YUP,,,it’s like I said. Corral plastic is not strong,,,,I’m having the same problems.....she’s a no go for me,,😧. I do like the slo mos,,,it lets you see a lot better the angles of the trucks in more detail....as far as corraly.......it’s all about the crappy plastics,,,if you should decide to run it again an you break an arm..you’ll see what I mean....

Honestly it was a rough road and a very tough decision for me to even purchase this vehicle I was against it but then was reeled in by the supposed improvements and the fact that it was the best one that they had to offer and in my opinion I wish I never bought it and because of the bad taste of my mouth with this company and how they handle the warranty or upgrade warranties I am done! HoBao at least really tries to remedy things and has an excellent warranty

Theres a fix for everything and what im reading is some Arrma mods fixes this rig? I cant tell you how many times my Notorious gave me diff problems and broken wings, broken upper arms, upper suspension mounts....but you know what? You find a fix whether it be metal or something else 😄

I always trust your reviews and driving of the rc. I’m not impressed. I had a V1 Kronos and sold it for so many issues. I was hoping the XTR would be like a Kraton EXB for CoRally this time around but looks like there is still a lot of issues with quality. I think I’ll go Kraton EXB or the 8S Kraton EXB
They will break too :)) the majority of TH-cam's with arrma they have them moded, look at Kevin's kraton, is like another cars :))

@@longboardguy I can recommend you the company Tekno, after many cars now i have a tekno mt410 and I can say they have quality parts, very hard to break, of course they do brake but it's above all. They only do kits so they focus on best builds
