I'm glad that the ladies left Paul out of their arguments. It would be unfair to him since he wasn't involved in anything that occurred between his wife and everyone else. Just imagine being in Paul's shoes, just minding your business and the next thing you know you suddenly lost all your friends out in the blue and your business partner. I'm sure he would be confused and all. I know I would!
I can also see him having a mental breakdown cause of all that and not knowing why
The moment she said "leave her to die!" about the pregnant person in distress, I'd have dumped her as a friend. None of MY friends would ever say anything as heinous and horrific as that!
Oh, her calling me "stupid" would have earned her the Dead Silent Silent Phone Award 2022. Then calling me a liar and jealous? Oh. HAY-UL. NO. Nancy is so shallow, a dung beetle wouldn't need glosses to keep his feet dry if she was a puddle.

I am the maid of honor in 2 weddings this year. I was understanding that Nancy is angry. Then, she said all these things and I'm like, "ok, nevermind"

What she basically said was “If the person who’s wedding you’re attending thinks that helping a random person who’s in any kind of medical distress is not a good reason to be late, then you should dump the person cause they’re not a good person, let alone a good friend.”
Go back again, and read the comment more slowly and carefully.
I wouldn't give a s*** if the groom decide not to see me either because I'm trying to help somebody out and I'm his best man I cannot just go in abandon somebody in medical distress because that would be failure to render Aid. So in case of Nancy she needs to really shut up and deal with it
There is no way that she, as an uninjured stranger, rode in the ambulance with the person and was asked to stay. She stayed because she wanted to, guaranteed, and likely in the waiting room, as for an emergency, it's family only. She would be asked to stay until the ambulance arrived, give her info, and then leave the person in the care of the paramedics.

Yea, the moment she said that Cassidy should have left the pregnant woman to die on top of everything else, my immediate response would have been to tell her that I was no longer attending. Friendship over, wish Nancy all the worst.
I would have immediately dropped her the second she said that Cass should have left a pregnant woman to die. That's just messed up. It really aggravated me how Cass was _still_ nice to her after she said all that.
I think of Cassidy as a massive people-pleaser/doormat. Even tho she was told how she felt about her friends, then demanded an apology, THEN said awful things to the pregnant woman and baby, I’d be incredibly pissed the second she began to open her fat mouth. The thought that Cassidy doesn’t hate her and continues to apologize was very, very aggravating to hear. Not only is Nancy a toxic person, but Cassidy is also a terrible person to herself for not standing up for herself or others.

Poor Nancy. She lost all her friends, and is now a shut-in housewife, living in fear that one day someone might spill the beans to her husband. LOL!!!
A bridezilla story!
If the soon-to-be mother is highly anxious and its causing issues with both of them, then having somebody stay with her who keeps her calm is a potential reason for Cassidy to stay at the hospital. True most of the time they would just get some details and the caller will leave. Probably during the time that the ambulance was coming, they could have bonded and found that Cassidy had a calming influence.
This literally made no sense. No hospital would ever ask a random person to stay around until they can/ if they are unable to get in touch with actual family. The legal ramifications behind that alone wouldn't be worth it. There's nothing they would ask her to do. Hell, they couldn't even release the patient into her supervision.
Pretty sure at most they’d ask the basic questions like “do you know the patient” and “did you move them” stuff like that
More likely scenario: had to stay with the woman until an ambulance arrived, and the service is understaffed/major accident etc somewhere means they're all out on more urgent cases. Or queued up at the hospital due to staff/bed shortages. ETA: happened pre-pandemic, even more so now at the tail in places where covid quarantines are still mandatory, especially for healthcare workers.
When I was an RA in the dorms a 16 year old got hit by a car. I was asked to ride in the ambulance and stay with her while I tried to get ahold of her parents. I stayed for over 2 hours. .yes, in the USA.
Stretched the premise a bit. The protagonist would never have been taken to the hospital. Hard to imagine how Nancy had everyone snowed until she snapped.
If this happened in my friend group, they'd say "A stranger's medical emergency? LOL That's so you. Alright, got you covered."
I thought it was pretty far-fetched too. At the very least, they wouldn't have some stranger waiting until real family answers the call. Who would do that instead of going to the wedding of a best friend where you have important duties?
It could be possible she knew arias sister, but just didn't recognize her right away because she was pregnant and hadn't seen her for awhile.. Or it was a case of caring for someone, stranger or not. We should all be caring, not like the brides attitude.
@@freespirit3891 In the US, it's not a matter of caring or not - they don't let ANYONE except possibly a spouse or parent ride in the ambulance, and they sure aren't going to ask a stranger to stick around and take any kind of responsibility.

I can understand why Nancy was upset at hearing that her Maid of honor was late. But of course that does not excuse her meanness and her actions. And what she said to other friends about her MOH or what she texted the MOH about the other friends. Even when you are upset, you do not act out like a hormone ruled teenager.
Why is it that whenver a narcisist it being told no they automatically assume it's because the person is jealous? Like there is no other possible reason why someone would not be able to give them/ do for them whatever they are demanding.

It's true that the hospital would not require Cassidy to stay with a total stranger, but after seeing Nancy's reaction, I can't help but wonder if Cassidy was just looking for an out. 😲

Agreed. It would have made a lot more sense if the pregnant person was a relative of Cassidy's who didn't actually have anyone else to call. Otherwise, yeah, Cassidy's job was done when the ER staff took over.

Yes the bride was being a complete bridezillla but in reality the hospital would never ask a stranger that has no knowledge of the pregnant women's medical history to follow let alone stay at the hospital with her.

It would've made much more since for Cassidy to be worried about her still and stay behind because she already knew that the pregnant lady was Aria's sister which would give her more reason to stay since Aria couldn't see her because she's at the wedding taking over for Cassidy. But no. The hospital is making her stay there for no reason??
Where I come from this would be a very likely scenario; depending on her condition, set up at the hospital, the patient shouldn't be left on her own.
The only wards that have medics that can remain with the patient here are HDU & ICU
Unless the patient herself requested Cassidy stay with her. I can see latching onto a kind stranger who has already helped you once before to keep from being alone in a scary situation.
If someone posted Nancy’s secrets about what she did to Aria’s pregnant sister, imagine how much backlash Nancy will endure

In the US, they DON"T let strangers ride in the ambulance. I couldn't even ride in the ambulance with my friend. The police would get your contact info for questioning. The hospital is definitely not going to have a stranger wait there until the family shows up. Wow. Bridezilla meltdown. How can she say that about her friends? Nancy is the definition of immature. Now, they all know the kind of person Nancy is. She is still throwing a temper tantrum even after her wedding and honeymoon. Nancy is on a delusional power trip. If Nancy always talked bad about Cassidy behind her back, why didn't any of them say anything to Nancy or stop being friends with her before the wedding. Wasn't it because Nancy was only talking bad about Cassidy and not them? They really were no better than Nancy. They stop being friends with her after the things she said about them. What's the old saying: if someone talks bad about someone else to you. Then, they are talking bad about you to someone else.
Pretty sure the only way they’d let you stay at the hospital in the US is if your a friend and have a way to contact even one relative of the patient and that’s just so they can talk to them (ie: calling the patients parents/aunt/uncle/grandparents/etc)
Yeah, I think this is more for drama's sake. More likely: 1. US, the MOH drives the pregnant woman to emergency herself (due to ambulance costs & can you get sued if you called an ambulance and the unconscious person can't pay/says they didn't consent? IDK, maybe you'd get sued if you drove, too & somethingbad happened. No good deed goes unpunished) 2: Elsewhere: more likely the ambulance takes a while to get there. This happened a lot with hospital & ambulance staff shortages in the last year or so. Ambulances queued up at hospitals waiting for emergency beds to open up etc. Happened a little before the "global issue" but more afterwards.

Nope most family is not even allowed in the ambulance unless its a minor. There are liability issues plus at the hospital no one would just be allowed in unless its a family member or in this case the partner.
I did, RA in dorm where someone got hit (a minor) I rode in the hospital and stayed for 2 hours until I tracked down parents to get permission for treatments, etc.
I’m a little confused about why Cassidy had to stay at the hospital after getting Aria’s sister’s to the hospital, but she awful for insulting her friends’ appearances and saying that a pregnant woman should just die.
Also why wouldn’t why Cassidy show the others the texts messages?
This is a mod of lies. At least the writer could do is come up with plausible scenario. This isn't it.
I, like Cassidy wouldn't reveal the text messages between us as evidence unless on a need to basis &, I have stated this elsewhere, where I come from, rather than have a patient remain in their own, the one who found them is likely to have to remain with them as an alternative is sought.
Only our ICUs, HDUs & high end medical facilities have full time medics on standby for similar cases

It's easy to tell when someone is lying. A liar will say I do not. I did not. Whereas someone being honest will say I don't, I didn't. So they got that right.
Well.. missing a maid of honour last minute is a stressful thing, but one can't just leave a pregnant woman fainted at the roadside and do nothing..
Once the pregnant lady was in the ambulance her job was over and she should have gone to the wedding. She was a stranger to her and they would not have made her stay at the hospital as they are strangers! As a nurse once the patient is handed over to professionals, your job is over!
I think it depends on where you live, sometimes you need to go with the stranger to the hospital to fill out papers, it also depends on the situation
It would have made more sense if the pregnant lady (aka Aria's sister) had asked Cassidy to stay with her as she was alone. Or, you know, helped her get in touch with Aria so she could come be with her sister, which would have been the most logical thing to do. But sometimes you are not thinking logically when you are in distress, or really scared.
But then the story would have been very short...

I know quite a few women who can normally think clearly till their child (wether born or not) is in danger they’d be freaking out as well and at least 1 of them is among the strongest women I know (I mean she’s my mother and raised 2 sons who drove her crazy 😂)
Added for drama probably. More likely is a wait for the ambulance. Maybe there are different rules where this story was told. Or maybe in the US (where an ambulance ride can cost thousands) an offer to drive someone to the ER, help them in etc? IDK if that's even advisable, but I could understand it happening.
I've got 2 coincidences. My sister gets married, moves 250 miles away. They buy a house. Neighbor next door introduces themselves. Where you from stuff. Sis, says I'm originally from W. Neighbor says Oh, I have a cousin that married someone from W. They live in N about 100 miles even further away (350 miles). Sis, says I have a cousin that lives in N. Our cousins married.
Next one. Work. Boss is originally from NJ. This is CT. Department secretary, has a husband that is a scientist and gets a job with a pharmaceutical company in NJ. She says, they bought a house. Boss asks where. She says A. Boss says I grew up in A. Back and forth, they bought the house that the boss grew up in.
Can't be true, you're just lying & jealous! (Sarcasm, prompted by Nancy).
Some of y'all need to chill. It's a story... sometimes they don't make sense. It's fiction.

It's not the same, but the husband of one of my bridesmaids at my wedding entered the church just before the ceremony started. He almost walked on my dress as I was waiting with my Dad. But I just was glad he arrived. If he hadn't made the ceremony (he's a lawyer, and got a sudden call from a client, so he met the client quickly), I just would have asked my friend if he was alright. I never took attending or not attending as whether we were friends or disrespected. It was just a fancy party after a ceremony.
Wrecked her psyche .... that might be more damaging than if the girls told Paul what happened and he just divorced her at least that way she’d have closure

If she called the ambulance the only thing she needed to do was make suRe that the woman was safety with the crew. She would not have been allowed to go with the crew due to liability . this is s crock of garabage. Wedding or no wedding. This friend sounds like she was running very late to begin with.

The only thing I will say, it’s a Hospital’s not gonna make her stay until they get a hold of the family. Especially if she is a giant stranger. She has no medical knowledge of the person.
As a former ER nurse a stranger would not be allowed anywhere near the patient.

I don't know, this scenario just felt unbelievable to me. Why would a complete stranger be asked to stay for a pregnant women baby delivery and stay with her? They should have made clear that she knew her as the older sister of a friend instead, it would have been more believable. Even their reaction was not believable except for the bridezilla because she was supposed to be crazy.
These stories need more research. Could have been Cassie's sister--problem solved--would explain her staying at the hospital.
At the beginning though, once the ambulance takes the woman you are in no way obligated to stay with her, so the woman could leave to her friends wedding
