  • This Revit and Dynamo tutorial will help you generate an exploded 3D space diagram instantly from your Revit rooms and spaces. This is a quick and easy way to showcase your architectural space planning by level in both perspective and orthogonal 3D views. Using Revit displacement sets, we can also move 3D rooms on each floor up or down to better present your design program.

    Hi Thank you for the script, was wondering if there wasa nyway to link back to a color scheme to more easily control the imprt colour, rather than have to change the material in object style?

      Hi Peter, We can improve the script so that it assigns colors from a color scheme already in your Revit file to the new import objects. This won't be a live link though, so you'll need to re-run the script if you color scheme changes.

    hi, I've run into a slight problem. I am more the lazy kind and bought the script.
    Everything works but I run the script and dynamo generates the diagram. The result is enormous, it's as if dynamo generated it at another scale. kinda fun to see. I'm using revit 2022.1 and when I opened the script in dynamo a message appeared about the pythonscript being old or something. Don't know if others encountered a similar thing. But I wanted to let you know this

      Thanks for reporting this! Revit 2022 changes the unit conversion system slightly so maybe that's why. I'll check the script to see if we can make it work for 2022.

      Hey sorry for the late reply! I've updated the download to include a Dynamo file specifically for Revit 2022 to fix its import scaling bug. Please email support@rv-boost.com from the email you used to get the download and we'll send you the updated files for free!

    hw can i fix it?
    thank you and have a good day!!!!

      Hi! Did you check the video's description? The download link is there.
      About the object size, which Revit version are you using?

      Revit 2022 changed the way it deals with units which is why the output objects become so big. I'll fix the script 🙂

    Does this work for spaces as well instead of rooms?

    • @RVBoost
      @RVBoost  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! Simply choose the Spaces category in Dynamo instead of Rooms. There may be additional small changes required in other parts of the script though.
