Yea I knew it was fake too when I heard this. Ai is dangerous because it seems so real for sure. I know rip would never recommend weight loss. It's not needed. Just keep gaining forever as long as u get stronger 💪
To Rips thoughts on alternating between haltings and rack pulls. I've done this in the past, and it really does work. My issue is that when I went back to pulling from the floor it took a few sessions to get back in the groove. Would it be worthwhile doing say a single on the desdlift at around 80% of the weight I use for rack pulls to open either session?
If you aren't competing in powerlifting or have any plans to, who gives a crap how much you can mixed grip or hook grip with? Just use straps. If your sport requires grip strength you can do more specific grip strength training (arm wrestling, grappling, etc.) If your grip is limiting your deadlift strength then fuck your grip, strap up.
I’ve heard Nick say when his clients start failing normal deadlift sets of fahve, instead of going to triples, he’ll have them go to the lowest pin and continue increasing the weight with sets of fahve. You can do it however you want, midshin is a good spot, something below the knee.
I don't care what anyone says, like him or not, Rip should always be the every day Joe's strength coach.
This is clearly an AI-generated Rip… there is no way real Rip would ever recommend not gaining weight.
😆🤟

The rare episode where rip recommends straps and is happy with the callers weight
Strap-ons next
Straps on a trap bar 😂
You just don’t find clarity like this anywhere.
Love the podcast. This was one of the best, both content and delivery. All three are getting better and better on interacting(?) with eachother.
I was so confused for a second when mark said to not gain weight lol
Nearly 500lb after 15 months? I've been training for going on 5 years and can only manage 435lb lol
Sounds like he's a naturally big guy to be honest.
YNDTP
low test
@@fukashima6586 unlikely.
You probs dont have low T - Ripp just exaggerates like crazy when it come to what numbers you should be doing when
6'2 245 lbs deadlift 675. Trying to get to 700. Deficit deadlift is 525.

Good question

Weirdest erection I've ever had, NGL.
Everyone thought the same
As I chick, I didn’t catch that. Thanks for pointing it out, had a good laugh.
In order to not to gain any weight you've got to get stronger. And the best way to get stronger is to gain a substantial amount of weight, Steve.
Bingo
Thats linear progression man, if you pull 425 at 250 bodyweight now, then you will pull 825 at 650 bodyweight
#SCIENCE
The heart is also muscles and is like an engine and you don't put an engine from a passenger car into a truck
you gain weight you die faster
lm getting depressed hearing the numbers that Rip says people should be doing.. lol
DON'T gain weight?! 😮
He's right though, gaining weight is just one troubleshooting tool out of many
Never knew hook grip didn't improve grip strength.
What was his height and weight ?
What is the haltings
A deadlift from the floor that stops just above the knee.
My account has still not been verified for posting in the forum..
anyone else?
What height do you start a "rack pull"?
Mid shin
