When i came home i opened up facebook and wrote friends, we played minecraft together and talked via skype. Life was good as a 11 year old. I got my first smartphone it was a samsung star 3 but was only for text and to call mom&dad. Ahhh im glad i got a good childhood.

I remember listening these in quarantine and i think when people were in isolation then, these videos made them remember old times. There were songs in these that I had forgotten and hadn't heard in a while. It felt like a escapism. I think tomorrow i will have few drinks and go through few of these again. Also the effect on the songs make the songs more nostalgic. Its the same with nightcore, because that makes the songs sound slightly different, which just hits you harder for some reason. I remember first hearing You Make Me Feel on the way to walk on football practice that summer and damn the whole beat was different that set the mood for the rest of the entire year which became my best year in high school.
I keep coming back to 2010-12 music, and 2011 was the best, everone says nostalgia colors things differently but not to me i think. Yes it wasnt perfect but it was. My issues were SO small. Compared to now which has made me not even want to live anymore. I had sadness but it wasnt debilitating. I had friends i saw everyday. Now ill see them 2x a year if im lucky. I was away from verbal and mental abuse i had a place to escape. I got a illness and i cant escape, and im stuck at home and scared cause of covid. I cant imagine life feeling like 2011 -13 ever again, even if '13 was when i was sick i had this unmatched hope and vibrancy , my brain just cant feel happy like it did before. Im hoping i can heal my brain, bc even if things get better my brain wont be able to feel it. I hope theres a way to heal. I felt some happiness yesterday for a few moments watching a concert. It was brief but maybe it will improve. I wont expect life to feel anything better than 2011-12 tho. And ykw, thats okay. Sometimes, some eras are the most golden.
