Posting a whole blog about how you failed as a security company is crazy work. Can't wait to see CrowdStrike's blog, "How we single handedly caused one of the biggest blackouts in tech history with one single update" "Oh btw if you want a secure EDR pls buy from us"
If you drop both images into FotoForensics and notice the image noise difference (ELA) between the two, the AI generated one has significantly less noise on the skin. It's very hard for AI to generate stuff with a ton of noise, so that can be used as a red flag.
See... the speed issue... It was cause of a client side vpn, so he needed to update calculator on the laptop... cause it's a client based vpn right? And that's why it was a network issue. But uhhh... the update he got was already got, so really, it was a supply chain attack, and that's why he is completely innocent, mmhm. This whole situation is hilariously ironic, and reads like a honeypot on both sides, lmao (SOC memes got me rolling, btw)
I guess as background check they verified if he was not posting racial/homophobic or anti-lgbtq+ stuff on twitter, like misgendering, using wrong pronouns etc. I know this sounds like a joke, but in many cases - it is not nowadays, though It would be a bit of a stretch to do so for purely technical position.
Those are important things to look for… but so is criminal record, verifying the information in the resume is accurate, and the person is who they say they are 😂
