i have been using your coater for 18 months and i have found that the doctor blade dose not not remove all traces of coating on the backside. therefor i just create enough pressure on the sheet between rollers to transfer coating but not enoough to transfer to the bottom roller as to not get on the back side of the sheet . Is this a common practice because i don 't feel as if the coating is as thin layered as it shoud be/ somewhat mottled to use an old printing script . I cant believe that a blade as such can eliminate 100% of said coating, especially for a prolonged time. My results are not bad and i have not recieved any complaints but most people don't know what their looking at. .Is the doctor blade capable of this and how long does one last/how many passes? And by the way, Stop selling soft touch!!!!!!!!

Ok - help me understand a few things. Did you purchase a Tec Lighting machine from Lloyds of Indiana? If so, just give us a call and we can talk you through the blade question. Also, we do not sell soft touch coating on our website. We carry the XtraCoat Satin, but the primary coating we sell is our own REVO coating both gloss and matte finish. It's a low odor coating as well.
