It worth noting for people who are newer to the drift scene that the Dodge Challenger at 18:46 has some historical significance in the drift world. It's an ex Formula Drift car that used to be driven by Samuel Hubinette and was one of the first cars to have manufacturer backing. This was when Formula Drift was still in its infancy when drivers and privateers were experimenting with engine setups before we got to 1000hp turboed/supercharged/NOS injected LS's. I know Dave probably knows this, but I felt like it definitely needed a lil more screen time 😅

The white one was a cool slammed car but been in an big accident from rear of the car on the street so they cut the body and turning into a drag car. Big Drift Games fan from Japan! So I haven’t seen anyone else point out yet, but the tube framed drag build is a c210 Skyline sedan, as is the grey shell outside @19:25 and the brown LS swapped coupe @23:10 is actually a c130 Laurel, not a Kenmeri ❤
The Nissan 4 door in grey was a 240k 4 door came in coupe form Nissan L24 straight 6 producing 128 hp . Had a coupe in Australia in the 80's it went like a rocket . Great car Boys find a Coupe to wide body and drift it . JZ or RB wouldn't matter . Has independent rear end all the way back when lol . I'm 58 an an above left knee amputee who is a mechanic , track races a Bmw 320i tiptronic . Love watching the group at Ebisu from all over the world just have fun without the massive pressure of competition . Some sick videos by you and all the crew that went to Fall Matsuri . Can't wait till next year to see it happen again in Spring .
Daigo is the coolest dude in the world when it comes to drifting , also aasbo is always extremely camera friendly as far as not being awkward true professional
Fun fact the orange KPGC110 and KPGC10 and the random Altezza in the shed by the A90 Supra all have that same beautifully sounding Dodge R5P7 NASCAR engine that for example Lauri Heinonen uses in DMEC.😉Daigo uses them in a lot of builds I guess, and some other brands too like the TRD engine at 22:15 which is also a NASCAR engine.😋
The A90 in the workshop looks to be Kevlar, not carbon, really sick, while the two old Nissan, the one outside and the one inside with drag rear are Japan Skylines, and the wine red/maroon (I'm a bit colorblind) Nissan/datsun with the modern V8, is c130 laurel, called butaketsu, "pig's butt"! One of my all time favorite dream cars, very popular with kaido racers.

That altezza is Taniguchi's old HKS car with a dodge R5P7 NASCAR motor in it now (same engine as the itb hakosuke). And that v8 in the a90 supra is a TRD NASCAR engine. You're not looking at run of the mill v8's, you're looking at 900hp 9000rpm engines that make the sweetest exhaust notes you'll ever hear

TRD in the hgk supra in daigos shop is a nascar engine! Not sure if that's been mentioned yet but yeah, It's a push rod V8 TRD have for Nascar, there is versions being used for Sprint cars in speedway aswell as a 4 cylinder version for Midgets in speedway aswell!
I was lucky enough to own a C6 Vette while I was in the service. I had to sell it when I was medically retired. My disability/retirement pay didn’t start when it was supposed to and I sold/ gave up just about everything of value to keep a roof over our heads. It was a stock car, but I ABSOLUTELY loved that drivers seat and it heat and ability to move the side bolsters in and out, and the HUD. I miss that car…technically I miss any car that has a fun factor, but the power and targa top, the car could take away all my anxiety and stress that revolved around my pain and being med. retired. I almost felt normal..while driving in the car at least.

@Drift Games...there is a shop in Japan that builds Ferrari Enzo with STROKER engines...and the owner drives an E36 which is much better then many E36 track cars.
Dave you should check out the Arma Felony drift RC car and then build a real drift car that has a similar look if not identical. Then when you go to events you could let people drift the rc car and maybe take them out for rides in the full sized drift car. I can understand if you don't take my idea but please consider it and look at the Arma Felony.
