Red Rice with Churpa/ Monpa Local Cuisine/Traditional cuisine of Monpa tribe/ Arunachal Pradesh

- Hello and Tashi delek Guys. So in this video I'm going to share the recipe of Red rice with Churpa in which chura means cheese and pa means curry. It is the Local Cuisine of Monpa tribe and also one of the famous dish in monpa cuisine. They eat this dish during the whole year.
In this cuisine two types of cheese is used they are Soya bean fermented churpi (in local called as Grab churba) and yak milk fermented churpi. The presence of both this churpi in monpa house is an indicator of social status.

Ingredients
1. Local Green chilli - 6 piece
2. Onion - 1 whole
3. Potatoes - 250gm
4. Black Fungus - 75 gm
5. Dried rice noodles - 150 gm
6. Local red rice - 250 gm
7. yak milk fermented cheese - 2 tbsp
8. Soyabean fermented cheese - 1 tbsp
9. Oil - 2tbsp
10. Salt - according to taste
11. Water - as required
