If youre on softcore i would definitely recommend stormweaver more, stormweaver has probably better scaling later on since you can easily sustain your mana pool with the arcane surge ascendancy and go eb+mom at the end. For hardcore, chronomancer has some cool gimmicks and a more involved playstyle, playing around your temporal rift a lot but you need to use it often and precise or you might lose out on the advantage it gives, its more defensive overall id say with temporal rift being an insane immediate recovery button if used well but stormweaver functions just as well and outperforms damage wise too and the moment you hit a 8k+ es+mana pool with mom youre fine as stormweaver as well.
