It's really amazing to see this video, knowing that in only a few months from now, 11/24, Keith will be getting another star 🌟, but this one will be a star 🌟 on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame! Now, he and his wife, Nicole Kidman-Urban, will share their stars 🌟 on the most iconic place of honor for entertainment professionals! Keith's journey has been nothing short of miraculous! He started his musical journey as a small boy of 4 years strumming a yukalally in rhythm to songs to a 6 year old getting his first 3/4 guitar 🎸 and learning a few different cords so he could play a few songs. He was raised in a small family of 4, living behind a small convenience store that his parents ran in Australia, to playing in cover bands during his early teen years thinking about making it to a place called Nashville, Tennessee in the United States. He had to get to Nashville on a work visa that only gave him a few months and then had to go back to Australia, earn money playing and saving money to come back several times before he was finally able to make a permanent move to Nashville and finally start working on his music. He was not immediately able to make inroads for years in the country music business because his style was a bit different and not exactly what was popular at that time. However, he stayed true to his calling and his music until he was finally recognized for his great talent by a few other artists who then helped him get in front of large audiences by asking him to open on their tours. Then he finally got to tour his own headlining tour with his own music and he was finally on his big journey to becoming one of the most awarded and popular musicians of our time in not only country music, but a broad spectrum of just great music, especially known for his masterful guitar playing and song writing. He's won every kind of music award, including 4 Grammys. He's been inducted into the Country Music Songwriters Hall of Fame. Little did he know at the time of this video that so much more would be ahead for him. The great thing about Keith is his heart of deep gratitude for all of his opportunities to be able to play his music in such a huge way. I look forward to seeing all that's still ahead for Keith and enjoying having him and his uniquely inspired music in my life as his devoted fan.
