These lions shows so much emotions towards each other. Almost like humans, even if you actually see their faces you instantly know what emotion are they now showing. Its tough for them live like that

The Father lion probably lived the same lives as his son's with a big pride and plenty of food to go around. Smaller prides tend to struggle with feeding everyone and tend to be much more aggressive especially with male lions old enough to challenge the King.

A whole lion documentary about kings and wars, soldiers and battles, narrated by the Golden Lion himself, Tywin Lannister? I almost feel bad watching this for free!
Once again for the umpteenth time, this is riveting, the narrator is brilliant, the writing may be better, Sekekama holds it together with his bravado and take no prisoners attitude.
I think the reason Sekekama let his sons stick around is he wanted them to help protect the pride against a coalition. but of course this comes with a price, the older they get the more rebellious they become. Remember, he ALLOWED them to stay, which means he understood the risk. So logic suggest, his decision was based on assistance more than anything. Think about it, why continue to fight them instead of banishing them? He didn't want to let go of the pride, as it would definitely happen if he banished his sons.
Agreed he needs them around to protect against coalitions and until the current set of cubs are old enough to atleast teenage years where they can defend themselves. I assume Sekekama grew up the only surviving male of his litter. Lone male lions have it tough..they have to win over prides by themselves then defend that pride by themselves often from atleast 2/3 other lions in a coalition. There are some coalitions that have been numbered more than 3.

Bcuz it's basically impossible to rule & defend ur pride if ur the only male of that pride bcuz most prides in the wild always have 2 or more males leading/ruling that pride! It's very rare to see 1 single male lion rule a pride bcuz his chances don't last very long at all! The lone leader always gets caught slipping & is jumped/mauled to death in a slow painful death! It's quite brutal to watch & I can't stomach it no more as I get older lol! I used to be able to watch it without being uncomfortable but now I just think it's too sad & brutal to watch. I'd rather watch lil cubs being killed by male lions (even tho that's still quite sad) bcuz it's quick ya kno? Sekekama is smart like the infamous Notch lion who rule for a super long time with his 6 sons! Great story if u have not seen or hrd bout it my friend 👍💯
