Attempt on getting parting
If got,
try to get the Death and Taxes upgrade
avoid getting close to parting.
it might work (havent tried)
If not
Attempt on getting Shattered Ice.
Other weak hosts (hellion, shooter) is considered dodge spammers, which is a VERY high advantage
get Halt, overclock it if you have the gamepass.

It’s best to use a good tempo like dive or halt since their regen gets better the lower they are from what I can tell

Well to obtain maunery fast don't let a melee echo bot die you must the one die and let the melee host cook it that's how I got maunery

For some reason I died and the next hit the other npc did onetapped him

It's probably because when you die, the regeneration of the host doesn't work (probably a bug) so you probably made him low and the npc attacked it, killing the Host.
