Rivens q is a 13 sec cooldown and e is 6 late jax dash is like 4-3 if riven wants to catch up to jax, she sacrifices dmg to gap close, jax doesn't lose dmg to gap close. He can q to you, e your auto dmg for 2 seconds and deal his own dmg while you can't do much back. Only champs I see winning are champs don't done rely too much on auto attacks like maybe morde or aatrox

The solo lane ADC will get more exp out of it, because in the duo-lane the exp gets split between the ADC and the support. This lets solo-laners get ahead of duo-laners in exp very quickly and it's a bit of an issue in LoL.

How to win against ranged top laners? Just be patient. In the early game they will stop you, but the moment you have your first items you just kill them. So just start roaming. And chill. Mid to late game you win. Just don't feed. But usually your teammates ffs at 15 because they don't understand scaling...
I found playing Wukong against most ranger top laners works pretty well. Although, I've only done so against Vayne, Quinn, Kennen, and Teemo. I think I also did well against a top lane Morgana.

This happens for half of the game. Also just imagine if your'e jungler decides to just not go top, and the enemy jungler does. This is NOT FUN. You may win the game at the end of the day, but you wouldn't end the game smiling. Personally, I'd rather lose a game but have fun gameplay. This is what hashinshin is on about. Its NOT FUN TO PLAY AGAINST. (Edit: But imagine on top of all of this a ranged champion was so strong that he/she would straight up win against a melee champion with no counterplay available. I recently played top as Nasus against Kalista, it wasn't fun. Well I just stayed under tower until my jungler came and I pressed W and we killed her. This repeated itself a few more times until teamfights broke out and we absolutely annihilated them.
The real reason we hate ranged to planets is because they’re that, *ranged.* in a game where Positioning is one of the major factors, being able to poke someone from a distance will always be safer then walking up and punching each other in the face. So of course when one guy can only punch you in the face, they’re not going to have fun if you pelt them from a distance
