Just had to do this tonight on my 2020 Scag VRide 2 36”. Hydro belt just shredded off after 414 hours of wear and tear. Can’t complain. Best part is that I always try to keep a spare of all belts for my machines in case this happens. And thank goodness I had it on me. I was thinking the same about trying to take that whole spindle off and then after quickly skipping thru your video I was like oh dummy me that bracket isn’t welded it’ll come off😂. Didn’t have a breaker bar or jacks with me so it was a bit hard to hold the tension back and slip the belt on at same time, not to mention such a tight space to work with from the ground. Anyways thanks for the great video!! Short and straight to the point which is exactly what I needed for an in-field repair
Thanks for the video. The deck belt that drives two of the three blades on my 48" wildcat broke. I had replaced this belt two years ago and kept the old belt which was in pretty good shape for an emergency such as this. I'm now going to replace the two deck belts which are easy and the hydro pump belt. Thanks to this video, the process will be much easier. Thanks again! I have the manual that came with the mower to look at the diagram. You can also find it online or take pictures of the layout before removing the belts. Don't over think it as it's very easy.
@@jonprendergast7705 It's very easy. You just have to use a breaker bar to pivot the tension pulleys. I believe I had to take the main belt off first (the long belt to the mower deck) and then remove and replace the hydro belt.
Thanks came in clutch 🎉
I'm glad it was helpful.

What size to get the pin off my N?
Make sure you tightened the tensioner otherwise the hydros wont engage.
