Not really, I had owned Prado 150 pre-facelift, CRV and now 2015 Highlander, CRV 4WD (it's an AWD) cannot make it, both Highlander and CRV are partial AWD without any low range gear. Prado is permanent 4WD, comparing to Landcruiser 200, this is a small brother. There is no way to compare Prado, Highlander and CRV. If you want to compare Highlander, similar class will be Nissan Pathfinder, Kia Sorento and Mazda CX-9. CRV will be RAV4 and Nissan X-trail. Prado is a different class, cannot compare with Highlander and CRV. Speaking of 3rd-row legroom, many big families will go for Highlander, CX-9, Sorento or Pathfinder, Prado legroom is not as good as the formal, due to its rear differential axle configuration and 2nd fuel tank (or wheel compartment, depending on model). Yes, Prado will offer you HT tyre, due to it's market segment, most of the Prado's owner drive in the City more than in the jungle. If you want a real Off Road vehicle with comfort, look for Landcruiser 200, Range Rover. Prado is just a mix market segment in between on and off road market, a even lower end model will be Toyota Fortuner, built on Hilux platform, which is made in Thailand. 普拉多是路巡的子品牌 处于RAV4和路巡中间的位置 全越野 没有路巡好 只是适合铺装路面和稍微的越野感觉 去很多山路都不能足够 没有第三个差速器 国内很多都是汽油版 由于油品问题
Prado下面还有一个小弟Fortuner, 一个北美越野兄弟4Runner，还有汉兰达

严格意义上说普拉多不算纯种越野车，没有前整体桥和差速器锁，轮胎也是轻量化的HT胎，是一辆兼顾中等以下难度越野与公路行驶舒适性的车。视频中的路况以及台湾能遇到的绝大部分非铺装路况，四驱汉兰达或CRV都能胜任。另外，第三排的空间非常小，不可能长途乘坐成年人。

+weechong8168 +weechong8168 您说得对，普拉多有非承载式车身，中央托森式限滑差速器，高效的后桥轮间电子限滑系统和扭矩大的低速四驱。我只是想说在台湾很难找到普拉多发挥的地方，绝大多数地方有awd和电子限滑系统的承载式车身的城市suv也能到，这也是为什么普拉多在台湾路上几乎看不见的原因。
公路行驶舒服和越野行驶舒服就是相反面的，牧马人和陆巡70的越野能力无敌但是公路驾驶非常颠簸，牧马人的文宣里面就说明了车子不适合公路驾驶，普拉多和陆巡200为了兼顾公路驾驶才把前整体桥替换掉，包括大改款后的奔驰G WAGON一样把前整体桥换掉了，但是自带3把差速锁的配置还是具有很强的越野性能，普拉多也可以按照第三方差速锁来增强越野性能
