Beside the scrapping action, i love to see the blue sky of Australia! It´s winter here in Germany, cold and grey sky day after day. Good to know the sun is already there. Greetings from the cold side of the world.
Just found your channel. Very interesting to see scrapped from another country. I love scrapping videos. Thanks for sharing you are now going to be added to my list of favorites
Hi, nice to see a great haul for you. That Electrolux washing machine was probably in working order, as well as the dishwasher. They rarely, if ever, brake at the same time, so this was probably an change of owner of that house, and these appliances were put to recycling. E-lux are an expensive brand. I bought a similar machine, second hand, paid about 150 USD for it, used.
Hi there. I spoke to the owner and she said the washing machine was broken. Not sure about the dishwasher. They may have had them in the garage for a while before booking a collection. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment 🙏🤙
@@PolyProphet Thanks for answering. I now realize I was totally wrong on this one. Keep the videos coming. I watched this one as i scrapped out a few items I had accumulated in my storage.
That was quite the haul. FYI, maybe you should try lining your trailer with some paneling wood to prevent things from sliding out.. Just a thought I had as I was watching you load it.
Enjoy watching your vids while I tear apart computers and other assorted electronics my friend, gotta appreciate your hustle… lots of hard work goes in to scrapping and metal recycling. I do the same to keep myself busy in my retirement and its a great way to make extra cash! Keep up the awesome work and keep the vids coming!! 😎👍🏾
I'm glad you ended up with the two heavy steel "Handsome!" chairs. Scuff pad off the excess rust, treat with naval jelly (phosphoric acid) and touch up paint. The acid leaves a rust preventative residue and acts as a primer. Cheap prep work. They really should sell for good money. Unfortunately, shipping cost to Oklahoma would be impossible. Lol! I've made a few eBay purchases over the past 22 years that took a slow ship from Australia. Shipping was fairly reasonable. I've a feeling that has taken an ugly change in the last year.
Yes definitely the cost of shipping has gone up. Those 2 chairs I sold on FB as is for $20. Not a lot of time on my hands so it’s often profits over projects 🤙🤙
Excellent video Poly. Hey, you found a new way to begin unloading. LOL Take care my friend!. ETA: Ask people to share. Mental block on that one babe? BTW: HAPPY HOLIDAYS.
@@PolyProphet No problem, I think positivity is really important to share, especially in the internet, which is becoming a dark place. But no worries, as long as we spread positivity, it will be all right 👍👍😊
Hey Cory. Yes I have seen Mr scrappity sell them before. Nows not a great time for me space wise, though I’ll keep it in mind for the future. Thank you 🙏🤙
Gday Wayne. I’ve attempted this once but gave up because it took me too long. I guess if I practiced I’d be quicker 😅 Thanks for the suggestion brother 🙏🤙
Hey Tina. Yes that’s it. If I had unlimited time and space it would all come with me. Finding the right balance is a daily battle. Thanks for watching 🙏🤙
At 3347 into the vid i think I saw you pass up 5or6 stainless mixing bowls?I think you need to slow down .PS thanks for sharing another awesome video 😀
I really enjoy going curb shopping but I'm always hearing loud bird calls in the background noise! Just wondering what kind of birds I'm hearing? Keep making the these videos and we'll keep watching from Arkansas USA!✌
Yo Poly how come you don't take out the motors in hairdryers? I think they have Copper as well, don't they? Just curious. And also be checking for purses, shoes they sometimes throw out expensive ones like Gucci. Coach, Jimmy choos, Brighten, Dooney and Bourke, and more. I bout pissed my pant in one of your vids when you over looked some Gucci shoes!! I was like BRUH WHAT ARE YOU DOING, GO BACK, Back, bac, ba, bye Ohhhh knoooowww!! Oh well lol Love ya bro D ( I didn't really piss my pants, but had to make a big deal lol)
Hi D. I’m not sure if hairdryers are worth the time to breakdown. I certainly am looking for designer brands. I remember those Gucci shoes though they looked like knock offs at the time. Thanks for watching 🤙🤙
Poly, I love watching you scrap and to see all those goodies they be throwing away like oh my God, why? Just incredible! Do you go into rich folk neighborhoods? Also if you see a brand name item and you question it take it anyway and check it at home. People still buy knock offs. Just saying Mannnn if I lived there I'd team up wit ya we'd kick ass 😆 ❤️💯D
Yeah it’s a scrappers paradise out here some days. I have been to wealthy neighbourhoods though they are far from me so it’s rare. Solid advice on the pick up just in case D👌
Greetings Poly Prophet. Let's get going to find some treasures. PLEASE be CAREFUL. GOD BLESS you always. Thank you for sharing, passing knowledge/blessings forward. Be safe, healthy &blessed always family friendly
In the past I filled up with bikes and they were tangly and took up a lot of space but really aren’t that heavy. I usually only go out for 2-3hrs and don’t really want to be fighting with bicycles 😆

Hang in there Pietro! I do the same when it’s winter over here 😊
Listening to the birds in the background…they sound so different then the birds I’m used to from my area…it’s neat
"Fill-er-up". Too easy !!, Nice scrap run. 👍

Aww thank you so much Vickie! We are very fortunate here in Australia 🙂
A good day,be safe and have a good holiday to you and your family. I will catch up after my surgery and it is also very cold in New York.
All the best mate. Thinking of you John 🙂👍
Yep a laptop kind of day. Good Aluminium and cord day too! Enjoyed 👍👍

Interesting load, .22 cents a bit of a downer, but some sweet scores in the truck that made up for it!!!!
Hopefully it bounces back 🤞Thanks Jessica 🙏🤙
I agree the scraps in the truck made up for it
Thanks for the video.
Biggest garbage bins you can fill with pipe etc. easy to unload as well
Good vids by the way
Great advice Earl! I’ve done that on occasion and it’s definitely easier to unload 🙏🤙
Poly you save a lot by taking up the metals and other things from the landfill
Keep on scrapping my friend you got to ♥that scrap♻👍👍👍
Love it Brian! ♻️🤙
Poly you should keep your little pink garbage can in your truck bed for all your cords so they don’t get tangled with all your goodies 👍🏻
Good find with boxes cords ,laptops etc
Great video and a massive amount of scrap, great score 👍👍
Thanks for the positivity mate! 🙏🤙

Roadie says Poly thanks for almost 1 1/2 hours of best entertainment !! 👍
You’re too kind. Cheers Roadie! 😊
Lots of competition in my area but I saw none of them tonight . Very cold 🥶 maybe they stayed home . Got some bits and an aluminum tripod. ✌🏻
All the scraps to you my bro 🙏🤙
That was a messy load lol but laptops and cords made up for the mess.
Yeah it was a time consuming mess though I learnt for next time 😉
Also, when you check the pots and pans for Ali or steel don't just check the bottom. Bottoms can be reinforced with steel but the rest Ali.
Yes I usually can tell if it’s aluminium side so go straight to the bottoms to see if it’s steel 🤙🤙 Thanks Jeff
If i found a load like you do i wouldn't need to go out again for a week.im moving to Australia great weather heaps of scrap living the dream.😂😂👍♻️
Yes it’s great out here! There’s a lot to like about it 😁
Nice finds fellow scrapper
Thank you brother 🙏🤙
@18:00 those lawn chairs are worth decent money here in North America on ebay.
Hey Cory. Yes I have seen Mr scrappity sell them before. Nows not a great time for me space wise, though I’ll keep it in mind for the future. Thank you 🙏🤙
@@PolyProphet that le creuset bag at 107:54 was nice. Le creuset is big money for resale as well.
Good spot there mate. I didn’t even see that! 👍👍
Suggestion I strap bikes on outside of trailer. It looks like hell but it works.
Gday Wayne. I’ve attempted this once but gave up because it took me too long. I guess if I practiced I’d be quicker 😅 Thanks for the suggestion brother 🙏🤙
Очень даже неплохой результат! Удачи в дальнейшем!!!
Hello I'm watching you work your buns off lol stay safe .God bless 🙏
So besides doing this work .what else do you do .
Enjoyed your video you were working so hard my God bless
Yes, thank you
I thought the point of scrapping was to keep the metal out of landfills and recycle it!
Hey Tina. Yes that’s it. If I had unlimited time and space it would all come with me. Finding the right balance is a daily battle. Thanks for watching 🙏🤙
Those George Foreman grills have good pieces of cast aluminum in them. Easy to get out too. Just fyi.
I usually sell them as dirty ally or ally breakage I think you guys call it?

Not bad for a couple hours work
True! Though it doesn’t feel like work 😃
Cool merci 🤩👍👍👍

Great job!!!❤❤😊😊
Good job.
Nicely done 😌
WoW on the laptops and cords. Great video and nice and long. 👏👏👏👏❤️
Thank you. 💙
Yes the bonus laptops and cords were sweet! Thanks Trasie 🙏🤙
Have you ever tried to scrap Christmas lights just curious
Like cut all the bulbs off?
@@PolyProphet yeah
There are so many of them I was wondering if there scrapable
I’ve never done it myself but I think I saw Thub try it. Some yards take them as low grade ICW. My yard doesn’t though 😕
Mate, consider checking the ends of water hoses for brass fittings…
Unfortunately 99% of ours here are plastic
The Baby hi chair you can remove just the leg.s i do all the time
Thank you for the advise Dan! 🙏🤙l
Ooo I want the grabber the really good one

Wow awesome videos
What the f..k is going in down under? No one seems to resell Things. Crazy what you find in the streets. Partly brand new things. Regards from Germany
Wtf alright. Extremely wasteful throw away mentality needs adjusting. Hopefully aussies will see this and realise what a waste it is 🙏🤙
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ wow frying pan
hello Sir poly godbless 🙏🙏🙏
Good morning
I notice in these early videos you didn't take the fans, when did you decide fans were good to take?
That weight would have paid me $47 at my yard. Around 6 cents per pound.
22cents a kilo make the most of that it's only 10cents a kilo in rockhampton
😳
Shit keeps walking in front of me too😂
I would hv checked the area where u found camera better
Merhaba çok güzel bir video olmuş
👍
Was that an e on the ground. 🥴
wonder why u do not take the bikes ....
In the past I filled up with bikes and they were tangly and took up a lot of space but really aren’t that heavy. I usually only go out for 2-3hrs and don’t really want to be fighting with bicycles 😆
Next time u find a piece of cage ty strap it in front of your back window so items won’t brake the rear window smaller grid the better ok brah
Thanks for the advice Mickey 🙏🤙
Why don't you scrap out before you put on trailer save time
I’d visit less piles per hour
Careful
🤙🏼Nice
🤙🤙
❤❤❤
Nice

✌️👍
Where did my post go!
I'd like to buy one of your laptops if possible and i will send you money for shipping.
Where do you live? The laptops in this video were old and in bad shape. They suit scrapping.

You leave so much medal behind. Must be nice to be rich enough to leave it
Haha people often are mistaken and think it’s all about the metal. I’d much rather find a trailer load of non metal stuff 👌
Yay let's see what scrap you don't pick up today I don't see how you make as much as money as you do cuz you picky picker afraid to sweat or get dirty
Smarter not harder coxy! 👌
Good job
