Judge Andronici of Westampton, NJ sentenced me to 1 day in jail for saying to the court clerk "Your township sucks and take this $250 for this ticket and stick it somewhere" lol I was young and pissed.
Technically a ticket is a litigation case (you vs the police dept) which you are pleading guilty to when you pay the fine. A fine is literally a plea bargain. That’s why you can be arrested if don’t pay a ticket, it’s basically treated as missing a court date. Once you pay your ticket the case will be closed out but the same rules for courtroom etiquette still apply even at a local district magistrate…it’s still a court of law. If you insult the magistrate prior to closing out that case, you can be held in contempt. This is totally different. Imagine getting arrested because you wrote the cop who ticketed you a nasty letter, and then, to add insult to injury, actually being found GUILTY of assaulting a cop, and serving jail time for it….for writing a letter! F N stinks like the ever given full of shit lol

They charged him with attempted sexual assault on a minor, harassment and terroristic threats. He spent nearly 3 months in jail on because he couldn't bail out. They offered him 3 years in state prison. His mom got a real lawyer and guess what the charges were dismissed because the cop didn't even have any children. Guess who the judge was that signed the warrant, Judge Andronici. He ran like 10 courts in Burlington County at the same time.

"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt" - Abraham Lincoln
How is this something that doesn't get you thrown off the bench and into the klink for 30 days himself. This is an atrocious abuse of power and has no place in a free society
Steve is speaking the truth. Love the recent stretch of vids telling it like it really is. Steve has common sense and understands the average man's sensibilities. Thank you for speaking on topics that really matter. I've always secretly hoped you're a 2A lover also.
The Judge proved the man's point of being incompetent by reacting the way he did. What an egotistical fool.
I thought the truth was supposed to set you free.
Only in the next world. In this world, more than often, it will get hurt.
It apparently gets you locked up for 30 days.
Turns out, that's a lie.
Tell that to ERIC BRANDT

Lol! Your fearless in calling the judge incompetent!
I completely AGREE! thank you for covering this.
The speech police are real, especially in Broward, Dade and Palm Beach County. Be safe.
I use to live in Florida. The people are wonderful. But the politicians, judges, and laws are awful and don't protect victims! I suspect the politicians and judges are CORRUPT!! In Florida a convicted PEDIOPHILE CAN NOT BE DENIED ACCESS to his CHILDREN - even if his children were his VICTIMS!!!!
@@robertamansfield3375 The Florida state Department of Corrections allows it’s work release inmates to work for telemarketing companies where they can get access to personal information of the people they deal with. @@briangarrow448 I'm a correctional nurse. I've know of instances where inmates in prison worked as telemarketers. He also had a gifted intelligence with computers. I just can't make this idiocy up! LOL!🙄🤪
This is why there needs to be independent prosecutors and courts to deal with criminal acts by judges.
Okay? And then who deals with criminal acts by the independent courts that manage the courts?
@@Tony_Goat the regular courts and the local DA. They can spend their days trying to put each other in jail.
That should apply to prosecutors too, law enforcement as a whole, it would take self investigation, then above the law premises would disappear.
Thank you, Steve.
OMG... I nearly fell out of my chair @ 4:23 when Steve started to spell his name for the benefit of that INCOMPETENT judge, in what was clearly a call-out! The subtext on that is simply priceless: "Come at Me, PUNK! My name's Steve Lehto. STEVE LEHTO... Let me spell that for you!"
I wish I could give this one Multiple Thumbs-up! 🤣
I believe it was MAD Magazine that pointed out that a judge was an attorney whose record proves they can't hack it practicing law, or a person owed a favor by a politician.

How is this not a violation of the first amendment? The judge has no power outside of their little courtroom
Judge: "I read the letter in my courtroom"
@@PsRohrbaugh 😂😂😂
Tyrants think they're immortal.
Exactly
Judges have some power that extends beyond their courtroom, but definitely not in this instance.
A person calls a judge incompent, two judges prove his point.
Very well done. I hope those judges do lose their positions in upcoming elections.
Sounds like the judge needs to be put in jail for violating his 1st amendment rights? BTW that judge is in a PUBLIC position. The guy has every right to criticize the judge.
“The letter included statements and representations calculated to lessen the authority and dignity of the court”
In other words
“don’t make fun of me or else people won’t take me seriously. Because my power is only there because people need to take me seriously or I’ll put them in jail”
How did the Florida Supreme Court rule? I couldn't find any update in a quick search
The court of appeals upheld the verdict
Judge Andronici of Westampton, NJ sentenced me to 1 day in jail for saying to the court clerk "Your township sucks and take this $250 for this ticket and stick it somewhere" lol I was young and pissed.
But, you're a survivor!
@@twoeightythreez OK try this one, a friend of mine was at work and the cop that wrote him a ticket walk in. They started arguing and mine friend started rapping a dmx line that went " if you got a daughter older than 15 ima rape her, take her on the living room floor right there in front of you. Everyone was laughing at the cop right. So about an hour goes by then the whole Delran, NJ police department show up.
Exactly, and you wonder why people are afraid of courts?
The poor judgement proves the man was right.
"Now everyone knows you're an incompetent judge."
Lamao, I died. 😂👌
I like when YOU know YOU'RE right and the way u point it out, steve.
Even if what the man did could be considered a crime it is incredibly worrying that a judge can just say "come to court and now im sending you to jail"
2 different judges in this story.
If we had a real FBI and DOJ, the JUDGE would be looking at jail time....
If you live in Florida make sure to get the state DA out as soon as possible.

Great analysis Steve. Seeing it from a citizens point of view, explained by someone that knows what he is talking about, makes for a great video. I am UK, not US, and even I understood your point.
Don't newspapers routinely print articles about people's competence? Could they be sent to jail for writing an article about a judge?
retired Toronto ON. judge David Cole did the same thing but in his court room and then edited the court recording . corruption beyond belief
Oh, Florida being Florida, just another day down here...

Hey Steve! If these judges are elected, AND they can throw someone in jail for insulting them, AND given the state of politics, do they just jail their opponents at election time every time one of them runs an attack ad? Now THAT'S incumbent advantage! LOL!
Steve your video's have become my "workout music" when I go hiking. Keep up the great work man!
I feel some judges abuse contempt charges like that one judge who ran out of the courtroom to hold a mom in contempt
Please let us know if you get a letter saying that you have to go to court. That would be a great video.
I suspect it wasn't an actual subpoena, since those have to be tied to an ongoing case.
@@virt1one I don’t know how it actually works to be honest with you. I’ve never been brought to court. I went to the divorce court with my parents bc they needed someone who knew them both to tell the court that they were separated for over a year but I didn’t have to do that. I was picked from a crowd to witness someone who was going to court for going UA once. And that was a random thing. I literally stood there with the other 2 witnesses at parade rest while the dude was put on trial. I wasn’t legally required to be in either of those court rooms so I really don’t know how the process would work.
I have a question, did the judge even have jurisdiction or authority to call the man back before him? If he had no pending cases what right did the judge have to say you need to come before me so I can give you a contempt of court charge? Can a judge just order any random person before them?
Wow, if that judge couldn't handle being called a "effing clown" he'd have cried a lot of tears if he'd gone to my high school.

Time to get a civil rights lawyer involved. You have a right to free speech
It should be enough to describe Mr Jenkins as a "citizen." None of the other qualities about him (former soldier, # of tours in foreign theater, etc) are relevant nor required.
He is a citizen. That is enough
