I don’t think TH-cam allows links in comments, they get automatically removed. Also, linking to affiliate programs when it’s not your channel could be flagged by anyone, including the original content creator, as commercial spam. I’d be very careful with this.
You are right. It's one thing to post affiliate links to YOUR videos, if you include affiliate links on OTHER's people videos they will be removed...either by TH-cam, or the creator of the video. Very misleading...
TH-cam actually does allow links on videos however, I mentioned in the video the guidance to doing this without it coming across as spam as you are correct, it will get flagged. I have many people in my comments who recommend products and opportunities and when I do see them if it is related to the video I leave them if it is spammy and seems like a scam I will flag them. There is a way to do this and as I emphasized and repeated in the video, so yes, as I shared in the video one has to be careful. Thanks for sharing,

Won't be dropping any links in anyone's video, again. Prior to seeing this video, I dropped a link on someone else's video, not knowing then that it wasn't allowed. Was only posting the link for the person to get more info about their video. It was not an affiliate link, but it was removed. Like I said in a previous comment, I also tried it on another channel after watching this said video, but it was removed. Lastly, it was also removed from yours so, won't do it. Can't be too careful on these YT streets
Exact same experience I’ve had, so I no longer drop links. But this video is still good advice for affiliate links op& comments on other platforms.

U are so honest and do not wish for us to learn how to be deceptive with our home based job we pick online as like millions of TH-camrs and in other social media to gain the traffic and audience. I even see many youTubers placing a very famous peoples pictures on the front page of their video with some crazy description of what is the post about. Acople of days ago I saw a TH-camr using MelGibson's picture on his front first frozen page where he wrote that this video was about artists that has die in the last 24 hrs. When MelGibson is well and very much alive, then when I watched the video he did say nothing closer to MelGibson being dead in the last 24 hrs. As he named his TH-cam video

I tried this for Amazon associate. I signed up and spent a few hours commenting on youtube videos and recommended things I liked. The next au Amazon said I was not accepted for the associate programme become I needed a “url “ . I don’t have a website. I just have a TH-cam channel. Is there a way around this issue?
