Using a 16pitch Mercury Enertia the performance was almost identical. Top speed was within 1 mph or so, cruise speed about the same, hole shot about the same. Im running a 15 pitch Enertia now so planes off faster. Cruising a little slower at any given RPM and top speed is less by maybe 2 mph.
Yes. I switched to a flo torque IV hub kit which is supposed to reduce prop chatter and it did. Oddly, at my last service, the mechanic swapped the kit out back to a flo torque 2 (the hub kit that was installed during this video) and the chatter did not return.
Karen Boynton Mercury Enertia, 15 x 15. Need to use their flo torque IV to keep from having the prop chatter at idle. More info in the description in my other vide. th-cam.com/video/eFj7UzXQRgE/w-d-xo.html
What was the weight difference between both engines? I have same mercury 200 and getting close to re powering. Was concerned about the weight difference going to 4 stroke. Thank you and good fishing
Can you tell me the dealer you had it done at please? I’m pretty sure I’m going the same direction as you. I seen you at the fuel dock a few times. I say hello next time 👍
@@johndavin7544 Sure, I had it done at Park Presidio Marine in the city. They did a good job with the install and the price was fair for bay are pricing.
Bonjour combien de noeuds
What's the performance difference going from two stroke to four stroke is the top speed and cruising speed about the same?
