Pete's solution for faulty Access Points is correct (turn the WiFi off and back on to reconnect to a closer AP) but there is a solution to permanently fix it. It requires minimal effort and will go a long way to ensuring podcasts don't experience issues when they go live. Put a fucking Ethernet cubby in every studio room/closet. Aren't you already running PoE for your phones? This is basic infra 101. Tell people to plug into the Ethernet when they go live. To fix the APs issue, you can create schedules that automatically search for devices already connected to their subnet to swap over to. Like every minute. Telling people to disconnect->reconnect is a solution but a sub-optimal one. It should really only be used as a last resort considering the amount of time it takes. This would involve creating security groups in AD then adding every user to it, which I'm sure Barstool's helpdesk could even figure out.
If Rico truly wanted to cover college hoops he should post blogs previewing/recapping it. It’s actually astonishing how dense he is. His picks are terrible too
