I really appreciate getting to see this on TH-cam! Thank you Frank O’Cain for sharing your studies with Vytlacil. So interesting about how color and shifting planes create space instead of just the old linear perspective. So much more suited for composition on a flat surface. When I was at the league, I really admired the work of Vaclav Vytlacil, so am grateful to get this wonderful presentation and learn more about his processes!

Couldn't have had a better spokesperson. Best exhibition I've seen in the last twenty years. Mr O'Cain insights into the 2 dimensional plane were inspiring. The term painting is dead has been thrown around over the years but l believe it is always just beginning. It is a never ending process with infinite possibilities.
