Hei from USA again, I used to visit Oulu as a kid in the late 1970s. The motorway was much smaller then. I love the new design which is based on international highway standards, and the video quality is excellent. This is not much different from a German Autobahn, albeit with a speed limit and one guy in a BMW passing someone else in the right lane! 😬 In any case, kiitos for sharing this video of nice ride near Oulu in 2022! 👍
You're welcome, thanks for the nice comment. I remember at one point they experimented with paving part of this road with concrete. I remember it being rather noisy when driven on, and probably not a very successful experiment as it was the last time I saw something like it attempted.
@@C2S07 good comment re use of concrete - we have a few roadways still in NJ USA with concrete but much of that has been replaced with smoother asphalt, finally. Much less noise, for sure! And less tire wear too 😁
