TN’s sacred groves under threat | The Federal

Scores of villages across India have sacred groves. These grooves are considered as property of the village deities. Close to 20 percent of such sacred grooves are on the verge of extinction in Tamil Nadu. The Federal visited sacred grooves and met experts to decode the reasons for degradation.
