I adore Bill's playing. His sweet personality comes thru his guitar. Funny how he speaks haltingly, exactly like he plays.

I'm going to the record store tomorrow to get this record. Currently I'm listening to Bill's last album, Valentine.

Love Bill Frisell. I got to meet him in Austin at the Continental nearly twenty years ago. They were sold out but the doorman let me slide.

I'm currently listening to Bill Frisell's biography "Beautiful Dreamer" on Audible -- highly recommended!
This interview is a great interlude!

To listen to him being in touch with his fear of trusting himself and of the unknown and thinking about these people and getting a nudge to “DO IT!”.... is very inspiring.
That inner nudge that we all get.
The very thing that we fear, is challenging us to be courageous; and once we “have a little faith”(reminds me of that great record of Bill’s!!)...we step out of our own inner prisions and are welcomed into the very thing we need to be doing......
mustard seed is all that is needed....
    Wow

Excellent chat w one of The Masters of modern guitar. Part of the very accurate "Mt Rushmore" of guitar the interviewer alluded to in similar words.

I'm NOT I Bill Frisell fan. I've seen in concert a couple of time. I have only 3 or 4 of his albums. I have an opinion: Bill is probably one of the Great Genius of the modern era. His music is so original, full of energy, fantasy and love that put him at the same level of the Great Jazz Masters like Parker, Miles, Coltrane, Wes...and the Beatles. I'm NOT I Bill Frisell fan..... I just have ears.

I know that I have only viewed perhaps 6 interviews of Bill Frisell on this channel, by this person. I even believe that he and I are close in age. But, there’s something about his interview “style “ that makes me feel uncomfortable. I understand that it’s been edited, but it isn’t that. I have viewed Bill being interviewed by several others. Even a young College age fellow. And without exception, the exchange is much less…..interrupted, for lack of a better word. I can’t get thru the whole thing! It’s irritating to me to try and listen and be subjected to such an uncomfortable exchange. I don’t wish to give this interviewer a difficult time. And I hear him indicate that he has been acquainted with Bill for a considerable period of time, so it’s just not making sense?
