- The Story / Evolution / Transformation of Negan. There are so many names for this, but I like to use Story of… Either way, this edit shows the progress of the character Negan on AMC’s The Walking Dead. From his first appearance in season 6 to the latest episode as of now: season 9 episode 16. We already saw Negan being more humanized in season 8, but in season 9 we saw a lot of changed moments for our favourite bat swinging prick. We got to see plenty of feel sorry moments when he returned to the sanctuary only to see that it had completely fallen. I like where they are going with the character and I hope they can completely redeem him, that way I’ll also make more Negan videos.
Well look at me, looking at you. In case it’s not abundantly clear why I am grinning from ear to ear because you magnificent creatures are about to usher in a beautiful newvideo. You see, what most people don’t understand is that I am gonna make this channel great. There are winners and there are losers. You make good content, you win, you get the prize, you get the subscribers. I want to make this channel the nr. 1 editing channel on TH-cam and nothing is gonna stop that goal. We’re gonna make this amazing community grow, we’re gonna show the world that we are the big swinging dick in this world. Negan has always had a good side. I've told so many people..... He has been saying it for so long.

Negan is bad but deep down he has a good side and is really just as broken and scared as everyone else

He murdered glenn yeah but in a sort of way he was justified as Rick killed about 30 of his men for the price of 2
Disturbing lol. Dudes a psychopath.. he portrays that exceptionally well but there is no ‘good’ in him. Notice he says “you killed a lot of my men, more than I’m comfortable with” ?? That’s not a human response! And it’s certainly not because he cares. They are pawns in his game, numbers, things to be used. Not people. He is unable to personalise, people are only a source of amusement or use to him. He plays that part magnificently, but there is absolutely no ‘good’ in that character he is portraying, but as a real life psychopath would manipulate folk into believing that, he’s done his job well.

Don't forget the story of Negan really covers over 6 years on the show. Most of it in a cell with a lot of time to think about things. One skill Negan never lost is his ability to read people or to size up a situation and make the right call (His exchanges with Judith are fun to watch). His return trip to the santuary was a sobering experience but he's pragmatic enough to know where his future and his best chance to survive are.

With season 9 being one of the best seasons ever, evil Negan at the end of Season 6 feels like a lifetime ago, a whole other show even. I'm so glad this show is so great again, and Negan is on his path to redemption. Love these Story videos Kek, this one might be my new favourite after the Rick one, the transictions, coloring and voice over are just PERFECT ;)

The story arc here is more momentous than any other. Even if you think he's evil. Hes only done what Rick has done yet more effectively. Yet he let's rick try it his way. Just to prove how unworthy the world is at that point.
Rick's crew must've taken out at least 50 Saviours before meeting Negan, so I honestly can't be mad that he only wanted to kill one as punishment.

I met the actor that plays Negan at le cirque restaurant in NYC. What an awesome guy. Very friendly and very funny! i think it was great that he didn't shoo people away from his table. I got his autograph and had a small convo with him. He treated me like a long lost friend LOL

I'm on s8 and I seen a bit of spoilers that Negan is a bigger part of the recent season. I cried watching this cause you wanted to hate him, but then he kind of became a character that brought interest to the show then he does something to remind you why you shouldnt like him. After, you feel empathy and sympathy for him. Now it seems like we can't see the show without his character, plus he is HANDSOME 😂 Now I really can't wait to see how character develops from where I'm at!

I never hated Negan, I related to him on times he wasn't so evil. I understand making fear your shield, making those who fear you be with you till the bitter end. In my way it wasn't as bad, but it was how I protected myself. Now I've lost my reputation as the angry aggressor, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss it. I'm horrible at social skills, fear and aggression was the only way for me. Now I'm quite lonely. How come I always relate to the horrible characters?

The show should just be about Negan. His story is far more interesting than anyone else. Also he has the best character arc in the whole series.
The Saviors were flawed but all of these communities are. They had the best infrastructure (not in terms of civil engineering infrastructure but they had a large population, an economy, a network of communities and outposts, hierarchy, civil rules and just overall damn good organization.
Alexandria was an isolated group of people that survived by staying off the radar. They had no network and everyone lived equally in large suburban houses. It was not a sustainable society at all. Even in the comics when Rick took over everything, he admitted that he was just copying Negan's blueprint. The only way Negan failed was trusting the wrong people and being betrayed.
A lot of people say Negan was too hard on his people and they were slaves with nothing to be happy about. That's demonstrably not true for 2 major reasons;
1. The people in the sanctuary looked up to Negan and panicked when they thought he was gone. He provided safety, food and shelter... more than anyone else could say.
2. In society, before and after TWD collapsed society, people were simply not equal. There is merit in the world just as in TWD Sanctuary. People have to work shit jobs with long hours for extremely little pay. That's how it's always been and will always be.
Negan is awesome now especially after season 10 episode 5 and 6

Think about it most of the saviors were most likely small communities that got tired of the stress of providing for Negan and still having enough for thier own people thus it psychologically forces them to just work for points and eventually become saviors

I love characters like Negan. They portray the reality of the world. It's facts, resources, and stability. I hate people who make decisions based off pure emotion. It causes inevitable chaos.
If you like Negan, you'll love Handsome Jack from Borderlands. Same character, same villain, same hero. They're working on a borderlands movie...kinda. They haven't started filming, but apparently Jack Black will voice Claptrap...somehow.

Yes, his former job is correct. Lucille had cancer and died at the very beginning of everything in the hospital, with him not being able to kill her when she was already transformed (in fact, was a teenager who did it for him in the same day).
