Sadly Markus Beyer passed away in a Berlin hospital on Monday after a short and severe illness, he was only 47 years old. My condolences go out to his family.

My favorite fight of his was when he fight Pierre Coetzer because he rolled his shoulders for deflecting the right hand and Coetzer landed very few right hands. He was an absolute sportsman and a big rolemodel for all young boxers in Germany. His former trainer Ulli Wegner said that Markus Beyer was his favourite Boxer, who he ever trained and that he is very shocked and sad by his early death.

it's sad that such a boxer who was born in 1971 died before he ever got to be very old. to think he was born the exact same year as Corey Feldman(Mouth from The Goonies),Kid Rock,(singer) Peter New(voice of Big Macintosh) and Matt Stone(South Park co-creator). R.I.P. man.

To be honest Bowe was one of the worst defensive Heavyweight champions of all time in my opinion. He got hit a lot.
