so i go to replace my whindshield moulding but it was difficult to remove..so i pry it out only to find out the moulding was stuck on with some sort of glue or adhesive because the tiny things where the blue clips clip on are MISSING... SMFH. can anybody help me out with what to do or what that part is called

I bought new OEM molding and installed them but the tops of both moldings after a short while will pop out I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue and if they figured out how to fix it
Love this car reminds me of my Lexi car I have a 2013 IS250AWD she is my baby girl and she had been through a lot with me very autism friendly car I have the package with NAVI great rideshare car.
I managed to clean and secure 4 of the 5 new clips. The bottom clip is the only one that doesn’t seem to click in place. Any recommendations on how to get it to secure correctly?
Thank you for publishing this How To. Lexus dealer wanted to charge me $900 (parts & labor, not a typo) and just replaced mine myself for $125 (parts & did not charge myself labor :) ) I have a 2009 ISF and that is the only part on the car that has aged ungracefully.

Mine is also dry rotted I am wondering if this will fix the whistling sound coming from the passenger side of my windshield hehe
All the pvc components on these cars are absolute junk. Interior components, exterior components... all of it. What a disaster.

Would it be a good Idea you think to add some type of grease to the plastic molding before pooping it in to help it last longer?

Where did you order from? Dealership was telling me 109 each one so like 250 cdn with no clips or Amazon 300 with clips. EBay wasn’t any better
