Great video. I am a smoker I've never had any problems with critters not working my sets. I don't think it hurts anything. And i hope you do a bee video on an update on how your bees are doing. Thank you guys for making these videos.
i liked the video so much that i had to watch it twice so that i could absorb the info you share. trapping can be really tuff on a guy's nerves when they know critters are there but you arnt catching anything with traps thrown or nothing at all with the traps set.great video guys be safe out there
The river area looks like Beaver heaven and with all the sign you've shown, it is!!! Might be a little trap wise on that river if you have quite a few trappers around you. Sure is a lot of snow geese around you. I used to go over to SD and hunted white geese on their Missouri River Flyway. Great video Chris!!! I'm with Melvin Lantz and enjoy the Bee Hive videos very much also. Tight Chains Gentlemen!!!
Lot of Beaver and geese in our area of the delta. Hopefully I will have the time to record working the bees more this spring. That is usually when I crank up and get busy with the regular job.
that is a cool place Chris you all are trapping .looks like beaver are all over that water system.. sure looks like a croppie place too. Glad to see you'll together trapping makes for the trapping experience knowledge to come out an help one another to further your goals. I would say that the weather play's a big row in critter movement.
U can goto lowes or home depot. They have whats called pink rebar. It is a 1/2 inch by 10 ft fiberglass rod. Looks like rebar but made out of fiberglass. I'm going to try some next season. Good video!! I was young we rabbit hunted places like that. Killed several big swamp rabbits. In places like that with my 410.
@AnArkansasTrapper is not a bad price either. I would want to paint mine brown. Water up here is clear. Them otters are bad about twisting out. I use a killpole on mine. Try to set a little opener spots. Newt Sterling builds an otter snare. About the sides of the loop he wants. Addes a 6/0 barrel swivel . He puts the swivel close to the loop. So it will work better. Can't get twisted up and break it. Dale Billingsley builds his the same way. Dale uses 1x19 5/64 cable to make his loop. Swivel then 3/32 to make the back end. I use the same setup on my coyote snares. I even used coyote snares to snare otters.
Put the log to the beaver, great show, hello from West Virginia
Glad to have you tagging along.

I put feed in the hives the next day after the last video. I haven't had a chance to get back in them. Once it starts warming up I'll be back in them.
Ok. Awesome can't wait. Im in Michigan I've just put sugar on mine a few weeks ago. I hope my last 6 hives make it.
You two working together makes for a good show. Good luck
Thanks 👍

Thank you, Sir.
Really enjoying this series. Y'all 2 should trap together all the time. Pool your resources and really knock out a lot of beaver. Great job man.
Can definitely get a lot more done with two sets of hands. Thanks for tagging along with us.
Two good guys right here! Enjoy seeing the trap line
Appreciate that Aaron.
That was an awesome check! Thank you for sharing everything my friends!

About all I know with the GoPro is on, off, and record. Many times I struggle with those.
Something has changed in my area too, It has slowed down for sure. I’m not even seeing new castor mounds.
We were slow but that front and water rising for them moving
Looks like the st Francis River near dixie
Very similar but it is not.
