Watch Photography Pro Tutorial | Rolex Timepieces | Luxurious Advertising Watch Images

- In this tutorial, I take you along as I create an advertising image of two Rolex watches. The setup for this watch photography tutorial used a total of 7 lights. It was photographed using the Sony A1 and the sony 50mm G Master.
Watch photography can be tricky as you have to deal with reflective surfaces and a variety of textures. After the photo was completed I replaced the background in photoshop with something that complements the elements we already have to create a luxurious advertising photograph.

thx looks great. amazing so much light is needed from all sides and angles. Why not just move the light around and shoot untill everything is properly lit from all sides and then layer the photos?
It’s faster to illuminate than merge all the layers in photoshop. Plus I can see result with all lights during the shoot. For me is more simple this way

just search in amazon watch display and you should find a few options. you may need too cut out part of the display if it sticks out.

Those curved plastic diffusers seem really useful. Where did you get those?
The pusher is unscrew on both watches.
Did you see the final image? Those are pushed down in photoshop. They are up so the time stays still while I set up the photo

Could I just photoshop the plastic off? Or would that be unwise?
you can certainly do that, or you could angle the watch to not show that. But if you have a lot of photos to created, it may just be easier and faster to cut it off.@@quintonmartinez741
