Although it was a force of nature that happened to SQ321, the CEO of Singapore Airlines still acknowledged its responsibility to the victims.
he didn't have to apologize for the existence of air. good guy
The Bay of Bengal has always been a trouble spot in terms of turbulence. I remember when I was on my Lufthansa flights between Singapore and Frankfurt, the Bay of Bengal region was the only place where you could really feel prolonged turbulence. I get that airlines can't avoid the region because it is the only way to fly between Asia and Europe. I remember on my flight back to Singapore, the captain on my Lufthansa flight explicitly said that the seatbelt sign will be left on for the duration of crossing the Bay of Bengal due to unforseeable turbulence. This was back in January.
Imo, I think airlines should make it a practice to keep the seatbelt signs on above the Bay of Bengal.
World class response and taking accountability.. It's only when incidents such as these happen the extra cost of flying with a world-class carrier ensures the extended service beyond the planned journey!
he shouldn't be sorry, isn't his fault. salute!
It’s a nature happening thanks for the pilot who managed to land the plane safe
God Bless Singapore Airline,, nobody wanted it was happened.
Accident happens we all take risk every day we step out the door
Singapore Airlines is doing business right. Giving its emoloyees 8mos bonus because they got their highest revenue this year. Apologizing to the public because of force majeur (forces beyond their control). And I heard from one of the pax of this flight, even tho the crew is also injured, they still prioritized their pax before themselves❤
What about the other airlines following the SIA flight? Did they exoerience the same turbolence or not and why?
passed away due to heavy turbulence but how. was it physical? i'm thinking if it's someone old and/or with an underlying condition that was triggered from being panicked from the turbulence
Was it only SQ321 experienced the turbulence during that time what about the other carriers who happened to cruise the same path or altitude
7000 ft in 6 minutes is not a sudden drop. It appears to be a controlled descent of some nature, by the pilot or autopilot. Was there a loss of instrumentation being Boeing, since feed back is that the aircraft nosed up and down. Or did the pilots doze off and autopilot did the correction? Or did the pilots react with delay? Could be loss of instrumentation, 6 minutes is a long time!!!
There is nothing wrong with the plane’s instrumentation, it’s clear that this aircraft got hit by clear air turbulence brought about by a jet stream that normally run near that area.
Sometimes things can go wrong in airline operation though not always as bad as the extreme 2:38 2:38 turbulence the London-Singapore SIA flight experienced on May 19, 2024. Singapore Airlines' quick, professional and thorough response to the incident is characteristic of this airline as I personally experienced in much less inconvenient situation.
I really admire the CEO Of Singapore Airline. Have a lot of responsibility, speak well it is polite to express Condolences to all passengers, one of whom has also died.
So Boeing cut corners on seats as well?
Compare to emirate case last month dramastic different management
Not your fault, force of nature,we had it last night, sudden violent storm in Chiangmai
That is God's warning ⚠️
Aren't the Boeing 777-300er about 14+ years ' New ' ?
Unless you were on way to the loo there was no reason to have your seatbelt off -no sympathy
wala magbayad na kayo ng danyos, ready nyo na offer bonds and pay passengers ganern mr ceo.
Next time your routh is must change.
Because don't cross over many problem land.😊

I don't trust this guy...he is full of it!
Could he be more fake and more robotic ?
Sorry is not gonna bring the victim life
It is not a human error...... if is a force of nature!

This is the consequence for supporting United Nations and NOT being on the side of Israel 🇮🇱. Those who favor UN and ICC and NOT supporting Israel 🇮🇱 will pay the price. You will be cursed and those who support Israel will be blessed , God said so. Genesis 12
cringe
😂
I tried to be respectful but You are an idiot .
I support both the UN and Israel for the food and weapon aid they provide. Admittedly, my country ks both blessed and curse by politicans and weather. So, fair deal? I guess?
This is out of topic. Can you not bring this up in this video. It’s kind of insulting.
This is focus on the deceased who passed away in the plane. This guy ceo of Singapore airline is making apology and condolences.
Singapore Airlines (and obviously their CEO) are a CLASS ACT...

POOR MAINTENANCE LOCK OF MECHANICS MAYBE FOR RANDOM CHECKS ALL AIRCRAFTS.
