I've been there, near amputation in one hospital, then a primary frame like you had for 3 weeks, then a full ilazarov cage for 4 and a half months. Internal bleecing, broken ankle, shattered knee, total separation of all ligaments and tendons in the knee, destroyed meniscus in the knee and a broken shoulder. Then 20 pulmonary embolisms

You are certainly going through it at the moment. I'm really very impressed with how you are coping with it all. As for telly programs, we love detective programs, like Shetland, Madam Blanc, Death in Paradise. All of these great series you need to start ar S1E1. Speedy recovery sir.
Keep pushing on, especially with the physio. I wouldn't have wanted my first steps recorded, I was a mess. For the recovery get yourself a PlayStation 5 and do some virtual training when you can't ride. You can always tell your lovely wife its for your son 😉..Wishing you luck for a speedy recovery. 🤞🙏

Hope your recovery is swift, mate. I just came home after two lots of surgery and 9 days with a catheter for a bed partner. Great tha you are so positive. Stay strong.

Every racer seems to go through hell to follow their passion. Tough life. Mixed emotions towards you. In one I wish you a speedy recovery. But in another, the thought of you riding North West and the TT while not completely fit. Sends shivers through me. You have done it long enough to know what you are doing. All the best.
Wishing you all the best Lee 👍Kinda know what you're going through after breaking both hands & left foot in 2021,then left femur, right tib/fib/ankle & 6 vertebrae in 22..both at Dony 😂😅. Should be back this year 💪, the struggle is real lol 💪🤣🤣
You will get over the broken bones soon, I can remember my bike accident back in 1978 , I broke my femur just below the knee joint, they ended up putting a L shaped rod through my knee and up the femur with 6 screws in it, but I was in hospital for just under 6 months,then it took me about 10 years before I got back riding again, but my left knee has limited movement in it , so it’s a bugger to change gears, but i soon adopted the bike so i could ride again and still ride today, I did have my photo taken with you at snetterton 27 March 22 if you can remember back that fare, I also have fingers missing from my right hand but luckily I can still work the front brake and throttle, all the best on your speedy recovery lee .
@@deanmsimpson I was riding a Yamaha virago 750 and I could manage the gear shift fine , but the virago is getting to heavy for me, so I got a new Honda rebel cmx 500 , the first thing I changed was forward controls, then Handel bar risers that brought then up 30 mm and back 25mm , then change the 2 seats to a all in one , that makes it better for my leg to work the gear shifter , it’s the best decision I made and I am loving my new bike and it’s better than the virago , I still have the virago and just waiting for better weather to sell it .
