Friends, family and pros may want to help you, but mentors like Ben want you to succeed. There’s a big difference. I’m 53 and just started practicing tattoo art after three decades in film and illustration, I’d still call Ben a senior “artist” to me in any traditional sense.

Agree with both! My day job is a union boiler operator. It pays my bills and has benefits for my family. My off time is when I'm building my skill and customer base in tattooing. Hopefully one day I'll be able to only tattoo but as of now I'm excited to have the opportunity to live on coffee and hopes and dreams lol.
