Charizard being everywhere is ok for me because it gives people who like it a chance to get a piece of it. I pulled a normal ex from my booster box. I wanted the IR but I’m still happy because at least I got one 🤷🏼♀️ As for my chase cards I’m still hoping for the big Zard and i want that Cleffa illustration. I got the Ninetales I was hoping for in my booster box 😁

The Charizard is so awesome 🔥👌🏻 and I totally understand your mom’s perspective on it, my parents also beloved the same when I was growing up, they would by me starter decks instead and if I had some extra coins and money laying around I would by singles from my local game shop! Packs are kinda like gambling since it’s luck based, fun to experience every now and then though! And they’re one of my favourite tag teams as well 🔥💪🏻

I have three booster bundles and a trainer box and the pulls are not great. Too many Geeta, Scovillain, Thunderus, and Entei. Disappointed that a Koraidon ex I had pulled was damaged out of the pack and an Entei was so blurry.
Really really want Toedscruel ex, imo Charizard is SUPER overrated, especially when you consider that ALL the attention he gets is unfortunately attention that Blastoise and Venusaur don’t get. They need some love!! There’s 3 whole Kanto starters guys, it’s not just Charizard 🙄
From looking at all the cards from Obsidian Flames, I can say that chase card I want is the Ninetales illustration rare. Charizard I can say is overrated because they are in many sets from past couple of years, but the cards retain a lot of value and they rarely dip down depending on where they come from.

I didn't buy too much Obsidian Flames for the launch, but hopefully I get okay luck with an ETB and a booster bundle. Videos of pre-launch openings have been pretty crazy as far as the zards. My own most wanted, from what I've seen, are the pidgey line (especially pidgey himself) and the palafin.
I'd rather have the fire type charizard that comes with 151. That's much more iconic imo. But it's also good to have both saturating the market to keep prices reasonable
I pre-ordered one booster box and one ETB on the 7th.. canceled it on the 9th because it said it wouldn't arrive until the 14th.. decided to just buy an etb from Walmart on the 11th.. turns out it was in Walmart on the 10th so I got one ETB and seven sleeved boosters... First sleeved booster, gold 🔥 energy.. second sleeve booster Geeta full art.. 3rd 4th and 5th and 6th sleeved booster was a complete bust! 7th and Last sleeved booster (or last pack magic I shall say) THE TOP Charizard alternate art!!! Didn't even crack open the ETB yet 🎉 and that's not the end I went back to get 5 more sleeved boosters to prolong me opening the ETB and found evolving skies ETB for $34 at Walmart 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
My chase cards include a lot of the uncommons and rares because of their artworks. I really love the Lapras and zigzagoon cards. I’m also going after a lot of the EX’s and art rares for sure. As for Charizard, he’s been a major mascot from the beginning, just like Pikachu, so of course he deserves the hype.
Love the video, love charizard, the illustration rare charizard is def. my chase card. I think that in this set, charizard is under rated, 2 energy for an attack that does 180, but often more? that could be insane, too bad there arn't too many other good fire cards.
Can confirm, the illustration rare is very easy to pull. I got mine from 2 booster boxes. Everyone was getting them at the midnight launch. Someone got 2 illustration rare from 2 booster boxes. The gold Charizard is harder to pull (there were less of them last night). Charizard is way too over-rated.
I'm chasing after the SIR Eiscue ex it looks silly lunging across the snow, and I do think Charizard is a little overhyped. Speaking of which, this little kid I did a pack battle against pulled two UR Charizard ex cards, one from an ETB and Booster Bundle, so it might be a little overhyped.

My chase card is the alt art Kleffa, it's just too cute! Also Im actually on the lookout for a tag team card, the Snorlax and Eevee one. Snorlax is my boyfriends favorite pokemon and Eevee mine

My chase card personally is the Scizor illustration rare and the Charizard illustration rare but if I get the gold or the ultra I wouldnt be mad at all. Although I do think that Charizard is very overrated right now, like I love Charizard as much as the next guy, but I dont think it should be what makes or breaks a set by itself.
I want the Decidueye ex! Decidueye was my first ever starter in the main games, so that would be great to pull. It wouldn't hurt to pull some charizards or tyranitars though... (even with the beautiful charizards, I still think charizard in general is overrated [pls don't hate])
My major chase card is the Ortega full art supporter because it's the same artist as the full art Lillie from Ultra Prism! I also feel neutral about Charizard. The SIR is sick though!
I won't lie, I love the Zard. Has he been overdone lately, for sure. However, that SAR Charizard is amazing and is my number one chase card. Hopefully, the pull rates continue because my Charizard luck is non-existent!
