I believe if u google which is better it says room temp water to slightly cooled. I believe it retains better in the body since it's closer to our body temp . Our bodies cool down naturally from sweating. But another trick for that I learned from futbol is putting cold rags on, (inside of elbow, back of neck , inside of wrist, and back of the knees) instant cool down .
