I completely disagree. That period is about opulence and affluence. This outfit does not in my opinion fit that era. The word gilded even implies gold and luxury.
She’s gorgeous inside and out. Even the smart boy at the Oscars when asked who he’d like to meet most , he said Vanessa hudgens, very glamorous and chic yet still naughty and nice. Wish Zac and her would make a movie together.

Seriously, she's so hot in this. She was so on theme too. I love how she took a witchy direction with this theme because the gilded age saw a heavy embrace of spiritualism across the US. More people should have taken that kind of inspiration. This was well-researched.
