Awsome! I have the old RG350M. Great little device. So I am considering this as an upgrade. Nice to hear what you enjoyed playing rather than just what it can and cant do well. My only concern is as I have the Samsung s22 ultra UK edition maybe id be better off with a controller for that but I do prefer a dedicated device for emulation.....Decisions decisions???

I would get the steam deck, handles emulation up to Wii U and Switch quite well, also does PS2 and GC flawlessly and does some PS3 games flawlessly. I have no idea how much the device in this video is to compare though.
@RedBeardTech I bit the bullet. Steam deck and £349.99 down but hey it is great. Now to get everything installed.
I was between getting this or the RP3+ but. The months of waiting is why I didn't get either. And not paying $200 plus on Amazon for it. I guess I'll wait til spring

i think it will be another rockchip device. Unisoc tiger is a good entry level chip for gaming.
The tiger is not bad. But would love an SD 845 in this. that would have been impressive.

Yes exactly. Even 845 could do the job well.
I heard the SD888 got thermal issues. Maybe the SD8G1 would be best?

I think they don't wan their consoles to be too good for cheap bc it would make gaming phones obsolete. same thinng with android boxes. they could easily find a very cost effective chip to make them able to play PS2 and at least game cube upscaled. but they don't want to
I think they will have to soon. as the handheld market is becoming popular again. I heard even PS Vita 2 is coming soon.

@@ChigzTech that ps vita rumor turned out to be nothing but an overpriced phone grip. vita 2 rumored died. switch pro rumor died. all that's left is steamdeck 2 which valve itself had announce already. so there's that to look forward to. china is in a shitshow due to covid right now, so odin won't be joining in with their overwhelming orders soon.

Steam deck emulates PS2 flawlessly, and even some PS3 games flawlessly. Plus GC, Wii U and Switch games, though switch emulator is still being worked on for flawless performance on more games.
