@@AdventureswithSpackmann Well you could always give him an occasional "bonus"... say a 6 pack or something, lol 😉 It's always a pleasure by the way bro!
Happy Sunday! Could you use those wal mart bunk bed cots in this thing? Maybe get 2 people stacked up on each side? My wife has an auto tent- she makes me do it while she watches. Camping season has begun- now to actually get some time off to do so. Another great one, cheers Chris.
Cool looking tent with some cool features. The battery life is impressive. I'm not surprised at the leak but for almost $1000 im slightly disappointed.
I don’t know, I’ve been checking the inflatable tents all different ones and they all seem to have major flaws from deflating considerably at night in cold weather some even collapsing, to leaking water, not good in windy conditions etc. Even though they’re convenient seems to me they might be ok for weekend trips but I always camp for 2 weeks minimum and I need a dependable tent specially since I’m mostly a solo camping woman, 67 years old. As usual great fun review and well done, thanks.👍🏻👍🏻
I hear ya. I’ve tested 4 inflatables so far. None of them have lost air I must say. One I kept up over a month. Below Freezing, over 50F, below freezing, rain, snow, wind. That one held great…. Except the water out. It leaked pretty bad. I have a giant inflatable hot tent with rain fly. That one is solid until there is too much weight from snow and rain on it. But it hasn’t popped and I’d trust it over a poled tent. Poles break and bend with that much weight left on them(the weight was all my own doing 🤦♂️) but this one pops right back up. A major problem with any of them is weight. They all seem to be heavier than other tents. Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for watching
It is neat tent! Do i think it is worth the money, sure but you shouldn't have to seal it before you use it. I would have tried the Spackmann water torture test with the awning attached to the tent. Because you know people will leave attached during rain storms lol. Thanks for sharing with us brother.
Good review as always bro but I gotta say it's mostly just funny. Probably good for a sunny weekend and that's about it. They need more improvement especially with the sealing issues.
I like the tent in general. But not a huge fan of the bright orange tho.. I’d prefer to be unseen when camping, if possible. But seems like a decent product overall at least! 🤙🏼
@@AdventureswithSpackmann If you want to find it search "1970s oem vw van tent" and you will find a blue roof yellow sided tent that would connect to an old skewl vw van, ah the good days. That old tent went up every weekend for 40 years in the summer from my childhood to the early 2000s and worked like a charm, breathable and good windows and the walls were wet but the floor stayed dry so just avoid the walls if it rains. Ah the good old days.

@AdventureswithSpackmann lol, you got me there haha. It does not inflate its self. How ever only takes a few mins to inflate with man power. Even with auto inflate that tent should only be around 250 to 300 max. In my personal opinion 😆
I guess there’s a lot of NASA level engineering and materials that go in to those inflatable tents judging by the price tag they put on those things. That tent actually looks more formidable than what they tell us landed on the moon. So there’s that. Kubrick was one hell of a director when it came to space shots. 🤔🌙🤡😜🚀🤣🤣
Need to change that scary screen saver on your phone . 😁 Blower may be under powered a bit for inflation. Cool tent but the awning doesn’t look like it goes with it . May want a new camera guy too . He obviously doesn’t appreciate his salary. Have a great day
I didn’t even know it was an awning at first. I thought rain fly? Then I couldn’t get it on the tent. Looked the instructions and yup awning. Still say that’s weird. It’s angled right at the tent door. I’m now accepting applications for a new camera guy. Thanks for watching
Amazing video but I got a little distracted when you made the joke about being the editor and camera guy! I’m just curious, would you be willing to try an editor for any future vids? Not even to pay them, just to edit.
I’m not sure. Most would want to be paid and I’m not sure it would be worth it to me. I’d love to be able to get big enough to hire one. Some day. Thanks for watching
For $900 plus whatever other fees, that's a hard no for me. You need to add a new test to these tents, eat some baked beans and let a few good rips go inside and see how long it holds it in. You know, a ventilation test hahahaha
Just seems gimmicky to me at any price. It requires too much hands on to be any advantage. Might have some entertainment value if your just hanging out with your drinking buddies 🤪
Dude, your cameraman/editor definitely deserves a raise! Lol! You two crack me up big time man 🤣🤣 Keep the awesome vids comin' bro! 👍
