Excited you'll be fishing some of the QCKBF events. Haha wait till you have the ability to see the type of day other people are having throughout the day. Maybe we'll see ya out there.
Good job Landon. Looks like you put together a good pattern for those southern bass. Looks like those males are cruising in anticipation of making beds. Good luck in your kayak tournament. I think you should do well with your local knowledge.
Where exactly is that “hot hole” at Blythe? I was down that was recently but I’m not sure I was in the right spot. My Navionics says “hot water discharge” next to the dam.
Yes the Mcguire nuclear station I believe it's called its next to the dam. There's another hot water discharge at the Marshall steam plant across McCrary creek
@@landonmoore76 best advice is to bomb your casts from as far away as possible. There are some bigguns in that freedom marina. Just can't get close to em or they won't eat.
Good to see you putting out videos again, I’ve learned a lot from you since I moved here from CT . Hey what happened to yatesbaits haven't seen him in a long time. Good luck!
What color is your wacky worm? Also, a little confused, Is the hot hole near Blythe or are u referring to the one below the 150 bridge? Thanks for any help
The senko is pumpkin with black flake. I'm talking about the hot hole near blythe. I always call the Marshall one the steam plant but alot of people call it the hot hole also.
Spots are fun let's be honest those largemouth were smaller back in the day than the spots we have now. I do like largemouth more they are predicted and can pattern them

It's going to take some getting used to but it'll be fun. I just hope I take pics correctly
@@landonmoore76 I did a video on it a while back if you need smother perspective. But I'm sure you got it down
Caught a 6 lb spotted in Stumpy a couple of days ago. Ned rig
State record size spot that's crazy. I went to stumpy Tuesday and it was tough
@NC Bassin it's January. But this year Stumpy has been good to me most of the time.
Foothills also has a tournament trail!!
Yes I plan on fishing the monthly and a few of the foothills tournaments for sure
Good to see you again

You definitely did better than us lol. Hopefully you do well in the tournament buddy!!
Thanks again for that battery. I heard Saturday was really tough only 2 limits caught in that kayak tournament out of 25 kayaks
Hoping my cuz Casey Ashley gets good in March...going for a 100...I'm begging for one his boats...won't give it up yet...lol
Welcome to Ramsey creek. Those big spots rarely eat. Especially if they can see you. If you can see them forget about it.
Yes that clear water makes it really tough to get them to bite. Seems like I struggle down there unless is really cloudy or raining

Thanks for the support. Idk where yatesbaits has been last time I talked to him he said he was going to crappie fish alot more
Get you a YakAttack visi pole!! It's a flag with 360 light
Thanks I'll have to get one of those
A little tip for kayak tournaments. Buy a waterproof floating case that goes around your neck for pictures. I lost 2 phones trying to take pics
I learned my lesson losing my phone in the jon boat also. I got a water proof case I still can't get good pics in the kayak though
Got to love that hot hole been there many times
There's always fish there just have to get them to bite
