I know this is the first time you've built a PC in a while but please please please change your RAM slots to 2 and 4 on the motherboard for you to be able to turn on XMP in the BIOS. Right now you have them in slots 1 and 3 and if you try to turn on XMP you will be wondering why the motherboard keeps posting to safe mode or the PC doesn't boot at all. The reason for that is because 1 and 3 are the WRONG SLOTS!!! Everyone like this comment so he sees this!
buying a 14900k right now for a gaming pc and calling it the fastest cpu in the world has to be the biggest joke i've ever seen

just a tip for building pcs u should put the pc on its back because it makes putting things such as screws or the AIO cooler on easier

Half of that money went to the motherboard that he's using without overclocking (LITERAL WASTE OF MONEY) and extra fans
@@decliningship4208 a chunk of that money was wasted on those overpriced ass fkn fans, i bought the asiahorse uni(COSMIQ) fans and they imo look better since the mirror side is a rectangle and not the weird shape Lian Li has. i can never understand or justify spending 30 bucks on 1 fkn fan, that's just ridiculous
Viewer - spare yourself the watch. This just hurts to watch someone with such a large budget put together a less than optimal build for a gaming PC.
Your "no experience at all" comment at the beginning of the build is very much indicative of how the build turned out.
For $4000 you should have had zero issue putting together up to a 7800X3D (or now 9800X3D) + RTX 4090 24Gb build.
Edit: just playing on PCPP you can get a 9800X3D + RTX 4090 24Gb build with 64gb of DDR5 6000mhz + 4tb SSD + solid cooling w/ an a tier PSU and aio for about $3500
I just got the 4080 super for £800 (1k dollars) and with an amd ryzen 7 9800x3d (the actual fastest cpu - FOR GAMING SPECIFICALLY) upgrading from a gtx 1060 pc
with 0 experience I built a budget pc with a geforce gtx 1050 ti and an intel i3-10100F and it somehow runs fortnite with 300 fps in creative and above 130 in game which I didn't know was possible and its silent and the cooling is decent it only gets warm after a days worth playing

that was the coolest looking power supply ive seen and ive seen a few from building pcs. also dont be scared of dropping stuff, ik nobody wants to drop stuff but there all built to withstand small falls especially high quality things like the ones u purchased
you should know intel cpu's dont have pins on them anymore. motherboards carry the pins now.

I hate to tell you, but that performance isn’t great for a 14900k and 4080 super… you should be pushing well over 1000 fps in creative, and 5-700 in game. Even without it being optimized it should be getting a lot more.
its because the new season sucks for every pc my laptop could push 500 but it can only get 360

@@mobilebanana27 not with specs like that, 1440p should actually have a performance gain with those specs, your fps will be a lot more consistent, due to your graphics card being utilized more. You won’t have a performance impact with these type of high end pcs between 1080p and 1440p. You will on a lower end system.

Bro, if u rlly want the most fps, get a good cpu. Because even a 4070 is more than enough to generate over 600fps ingame on Performance mode. You need a good cpu to keep up with those frames. A 9800x3d is perfect example of a CPU that can keep up with over 600fps battle Royale lol 9800X3d is Way better for gaming than 14900k
Soo we’re going to ignore the fact that he put a 14900k in it 💀 but I do agree, he probably should have went for something like a 7800x3d or 9800x3d instead, as it gets way better raw gaming performance than a 14900k.

Youo ly need a x formation of thermal past on the cpu to much is bad and it was getting harden bc it's supposed to. It only goes liquid ish when the heat is applied to it
You can optimize your pc buy yourself you’ve got a crazy config put it should be pushing way more performance, the graphics card isn’t pushing: the fans are not spinning

Wait. Why is a 14900k barely getting 400fps ingame? Im pretty sure somethings wrong. Maybe CPU is on Balanced when it should be on high performance mode
It’s probably the flash drive he used when installing windows, it installed all of the crap tweaks and viruses from his other pc. It’s pretty common knowledge that kxng has no idea when it comes to tweaking. His other pc should have been getting more fps too, but he installs way too many dangerous tweaking tools. I like his Fortnite videos though, just not his pc tweaking ones.

@@realColdClips fr dude, not to mention that when he installed windows, he used his other pc flash drive. Therefore installing all of the crap tweaking stuff as well. His tweaks are a joke, and probably is helping with lowering the fps. His Fortnite vids are okay though, just not the tweaking ones.

Everyone saying that the AMD Chips are faster than Intel clearly don't know nothing about custom configures on CPUs. AMD chips are for Customers where Intel are build for Programmers and engineers the ability that INTEL has over AMD is not even close. Understand that this guy plays for a professional org, which has game testers, programmers , and an optimization team that im pretty sure know how to pull every bit of speed out of that I9 in max power. THAT SAID THOUGH THIS BUILD DOES NOT DO SO.
