Kavala Fortress

Kavala fortress was built upon the ruins of the Byzantine Panagia peninsula, Acropolis. It was built by the Ottoman Turks in 1425 upon the Byzantine fortress which had been destroyed in 1391.
Today we will hike up to Kavala fortress and enjoy the breathtaking views of modern Kavala and the Aegean Sea.
So join us as we take in the most photographed spot in Kavala, Greece.
