Hi Mick! We have only had assigned dining once on our first cruise. We found your time dining to be better suited for us. The Hub app worked well for us last month on the Mardi Gras requesting a table in the MDR.
Hi Mick. After 10+ cruises with assigned dining we are choosing your time dining on the Mardi Gras. They have so many food options we want to try! How does it work on Mardi Gras? Can you choose your restaurant as well as the time? If you want to eat at Chibang at 7:30 for example, how would you request that?
@jessicaoliver9099 as long as they are all linked to your booking yes you can on the Hub, if they are not, you will need all the room numbers and go to the maitre d
I would say early or late dining, YTD will work, but it's a lot more difficult to get the same table every night. if you have 11 or more contact Carnival on ext 70006 (main number) and they will help. if 10 or less, go the Maitre D as soon as you board and he or she will help you :-)
We will do Your time dining but I wanted to know how one tips with that setup? Are all tips pooled so it doesn't matter? Can you tip with cash At the end of the meal?
Oren good question, if you go to the maitre d each night you can request the same table as opposed to checking in on the hub abb. they will still let you know when your table is ready
@Mick - does YourTime Dining work if you have a group of people you want to sit with? For example, can you add others (from other cabins) to your table in the app request, so that you can all sit together?
Erin absolutely, add them in your carnival account as cruise companions. When you go to check in everyone's name will show up on the hub so only one of you has to check in. Once you check in, you will get a message when your table is ready. If you have any issues, go see the Maitre Dee and they will fix it for you. If you have 10 or more you have to go to the Maitre Dee, hub won't work. Hope that helps
You can go and see the Maitre D in the your time restaurant, it would all depend on how busy the dining room is but I am sure they could accommodate you :-)
Do I need to down load “the HUB” for anytime dining ? what happen if there is no internet ? Your example is for the special dining how about the regular dining ?

You don't have to purchase an internet package, just download the app in advance and connect to Carnival WI Fi (make durd you turn off mobile data!!) You can also go to the dining room and check in, but then you have to wait, the hub isn't essential, but it makes everything easier...

Just the main dining room. On Excel Class Ships (Mardi Gras, Celebration, Jubilee) it is for Italiand and Chibang also.
