I was Puerto Rican, Black and Irish growing up in Brooklyn. I always loved anything culturally Jewish. Traditions, food, the people… all though they didn’t love me too much. I was in an ultra orthodox area in Williamsburg. My whole life I would have dreams of being at Jewish festivals watching men and women dancing to Hava Nagila and waking up with chills. This happened a few times. I would seek out the team of Jews for Jesus in the subways to read their pamphlets. I just always felt a connection to Jewish people. THEN 7 years ago, when I was 46 years old, my mother and I did our DNA. Turns out my mother is 50% Ashkenazi Jewish and not Irish at all. Her father was not her biological dad. I wonder if I always felt this connection because I am partially Jewish after all! I will always pray for the Jewish people to find Jesus. Always.

As I was spending time with Yeshua & Yahweh this morning, He revealed to me that Yeshua made the way for us, Gentiles, to know the Father (Abba) & Yahweh (the GOD of the Jewish people). Without Yeshua, we, Gentiles, would have never known or found a way to Abba Father because Yeshua is the Way. Thanks be to Yahweh, Maker of heavens & earth, for sending Yeshua that made the way for us to be saved. I hope this makes sense in written language because it makes absolute sense in my mind & heart. Without Yeshua, Gentiles would have never had access to Abba Yahweh (Jewish GOD). Glory to Yahweh & Yeshua & the sending of the Holy Spirit. The more this Gentile (me) follows Yeshua, the more "Jewish" I become. ❤

I am in total agreement! I am a gentile who attends a messianic congregation. I love talking to Jews about Jesus. Most are very closed but there is sometimes a little crack! I took a plane ride recently. The woman next to me was a Jew from Israel! Another opportunity - Praise God!!!

I think an important relative contact between Jews and Christians is the keeping of the Sabbath! I’m a Seventh day Adventist and we keep the sabbath. In fact the messiah said that he was LORD of the sabbath! It’s sad that the majority of Christians keep Sunday being the messiah himself kept the day of rest. Sunday came about primarily from enforcement by the Roman Catholic Church and we all know what they were about towards the Jews. Their are Christians that decried the historical treatment of our friends the Jews, including Martin Luther. However, the founder Jesus was a Jew as well as the first believers and with that we can find relevance.

This makes me think that the speaker is stating a metaphor, or is speaking figuratively and/or symbolically, but not literally (?), to say that life is "evolving" is getting into a different area or subject of thought. My understanding was that the Jewish people were the 2 southern Tribes of Judah and Benjamin and Israel consisted of the 10 northern Tribes. The southern Tribes (Jews) returned, but the 10 northern Tribes remained in the diaspora, losing their identity mixing with the gentiles. Wouldn't we want to know when Israel, the northern Tribes, begin to return to the land? By calling them all "Jews" could we miss some important prophecy fulfilments? Thanks again! Jeannine R

Rabbi please pray for my best friend’s daughter who has surgery scheduled for December 12 to cut off her breasts and begin transitioning to a male. I believe she is tormented by unclean spirits as she is cutting herself. Pray for Maggie, that the surgery will be stopped and that the Lord will open her eyes to his goodness and his love. I am in total agreement! I am a gentile who attends a messianic congregation. I love talking to Jews about Jesus. Most are very closed but there is sometimes a little crack! I took a plane ride recently. The woman next to me was a Jew from Israel! Another opportunity - Praise God!!!

I remember Joseph came to Egypt, then he married Asnat, a daughter of a Priest. And then, he saved Israel.
I also remember Moshe married Zipporah, a daughter of a Priest. And then, he went back and saved Israel.
Now we know Christians are called to be Priests. Jesus will marry the Church.
One possible interpretation is that after the Gospel of Jesus Christ reached all nations on Earth, after people of all tongues were called to be God's Priests, then it (the Gospel) will come back to save Israel.

When you read this you can understand my insight into the mystery of Messiah. This mystery was never disclosed to human beings in past generations as it has now been revealed to His Holy Apostles and Prophets by the Ruach Ha kodesh. It is this, that the Gentiles are now to be fellow heirs with believing Jews, members of the same body in Messiah Yahshua and joint partakers sharing in the same divine promise in Messiah through their acceptance of the glad tidings the Gospel. I think an important relative contact between Jews and Christians is the keeping of the Sabbath! I’m a Seventh day Adventist and we keep the sabbath. In fact the messiah said that he was LORD of the sabbath! It’s sad that the majority of Christians keep Sunday being the messiah himself kept the day of rest. Sunday came about primarily from enforcement by the Roman Catholic Church and we all know what they were about towards the Jews. Their are Christians that decried the historical treatment of our friends the Jews, including Martin Luther. However, the founder Jesus was a Jew as well as the first believers and with that we can find relevance.

My one concern in this video (running time 0:41) is the phrase shown on the screen "... and life is evolving." This makes me think that the speaker is stating a metaphor, or is speaking figuratively and/or symbolically, but not literally (?), to say that life is "evolving" is getting into a different area or subject of thought. Certainly not evolution that is linked with life science or biology to speak about literal life processes, for most evolutionists deny, or doubt God's existence and that life was created; and attempt to explain Charles Darwin's explanation on the origin of life by means of natural selection, which on the surface seems superficially logical and acceptable; but after deep thought and study a discerning mind, sees that INTELLIGENCE CREATED LIFE, THAT IT WAS INTENDED, PLANNED, DESIGNED, AND REQUIRES INFORMATION; that life processes WITHOUT CONSCIOUSNESS IS IRRATIONAL; AND THAT INANIMATE AND ANIMATE, UNCONSCIONABLE PARTS DO NOT ASSEMBLE BY THEMSELVES; BUT REQUIRES A DESIGNER, AND THAT TO ME IS GOD, A TRANSCENDENT/IMMANENT CREATOR; THAT MANY EVOLUTIONIST DENY OR DOUBT. Some think a zionist definition is someone who believes in govt. Too much, ahead of God. Remember that the Govt. cannot control rain/nature, and much more. Could you clarify how "Jews" and "Israel" are interchangeable? My understanding was that the Jewish people were the 2 southern Tribes of Judah and Benjamin and Israel consisted of the 10 northern Tribes. The southern Tribes (Jews) returned, but the 10 northern Tribes remained in the diaspora, losing their identity mixing with the gentiles. Wouldn't we want to know when Israel, the northern Tribes, begin to return to the land? By calling them all "Jews" could we miss some important prophecy fulfilments?
