Cool machines, no mention that Poulan bowsaws are antiques. How I miss human voices.
Yeah, can't find bowsaws anymore. Their main use was for cutting brush while clearing land, building fire trail, etc. Our organization stopped using them 35 years ago due to them being a safety hazard. Lot more likely to get kickbacks, cuts, hangups.
I have a Homelite Super Wiz with a bow blade. I used to use it to cut firewood, but it is too heavy for me now since I’ve gotten older.
I used a Homelite saw with a bow blade back around 1975. Loved it! Wore it out, then could not find a replacement.
That bowsaw looks dangerous.
@@Joe-by8jh They are, at least until you've had a lot of training and experience with them and know all the key ways to be careful when using them. For beginners, they can make a canyon in the middle of your forehead.

in general, a bigger faster and faster saw gets the job done faster which saves energy and pollutes less. Try doing some real cutting with an electric chain saw and let me know how it goes. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
