Looks like a beautiful city, definitely a place I would like to visit. On a side note, it seems that there are a lot of people jealous of this city from the comments. It may have some Polska roots, but it is still Ukrainian no matter what. People seems to be speaking Ukrainian and the signs there are in Ukrainian.
It wasn't normal to have a Polish city surrounded by millions of Ukrainians. Something was not right about that. Also after WW2 all Ukrainians were transported from Poland to USSR, operation Visla.
Walked most of those streets back in 2013 and also in 2011. Nice memories. Have you some statistics on which amera and size of memory card ,recording settings etc.Next trip I will have to increase batteries and HD cards.Usually take a SD cam recorder for backup and it is a better night vision recorder.
hahah stay in Merkelistan, kraut xD We have lots of wonderful cities. Not only post-German shitholes. But such little Helmut cannot understand it with his little g*rman brain. If you would come to Poland, you wouldn't leave alive, because of your sick ideology
This is a really poor representation of Lviv. You somehow completely missed the main draw of Lviv; it's HUGE historic pedestrian-only city center. It's the best Old Town in Europe, for those that don't know. It contains a full square kilometer of narrow cross-crossings cobblestone streets lined with dozens of stores, cafes, bars, and restaurants. These streets open up into several huge plazas also lined with shopping and nightlife. It's really an amazing place with tons of energy. This guy mostly just walked around a couple of boring business district streets.
the old city looks very polish, well because it was once poland. :D on the other hand, kiev, odessa, donezk, jekaterinoslaw (dnipropetrowsk) etc. were once russian, either reconstructed/modernised by russian rulers or established from scratch, serious question, what is ukraine? pls dont get me wrong, the state called ukraine has emerged as a independent state and all the dreamers and nostalgist should respect it, it is how it is now. the real threat to human kind is POLITICS in international context for the sake of economic advantages, power and influence. pure poison, until today
я вообще белорус из Польши..бестолку чето доказывать тупоголовым украинцам, 100 фактов приведешь, всеравно гавкать будут.. захочешь почитаешь историю в интернете о том кто строил спб и на чьи деньги
+Гайдамаки Шевченка it is like saying just because french and italian architects build places in germany for the german rulers, dont mean these are not german places :D
In 1939 in Lwów Ukrainians were about 8-10% of people. 70% polish and rest jewish. It's not even close to call it ukrainian city when everything there is built by Poland and polish people.
And the core city was surrounded by millions of Ukrainians. It was built as an Austrian city. Nothing there was built by Poland. Maybe something was built by local Poles, but nothing by Poland.
you are walking where you should not...Missing more interesting things !!! I hate Horodocka Street... Why not Prospect Schevchenka? Funny people live there ...They cross the streets any place they want... Take care !!!
IgorPetrovich96 Poland didnt gain western lands in return for Lwow and Wilno but as amends for German war crimes against Poland. We lost east Galicia and our eastern-northen territories without any reason, and it was a filthy crime. First comited by your grandfathers in the worst imaginable scenario, and then signed by Stalin. Kievan Rus was not ukraine
Fallout Nowak Yes it was Ukraine as they did speak a language that i can fully undrstand, it just evolved in three different countries. Western Ukraine was always Kievan Rus and nlater on known as Ukraine. You Poles just settled there in our lands so it is more then just that this is our land. Deal with it. You werent even born when it was still occupied by Poland
Really you are a great person , thanks a lots for your nice idea to let us to live with you during your walking

Because Poles that have been majority in Lviv since centuries were kicked out after WWII.

Interesting, thank you. A bit like Vienna ...
Why all the barricades on the sidewalks?...
OLD POLISH CITY....
I am really jealous now of your videos because when I make my videos sometimes they dont come out great, but your videos .....so steady and great.
This is not Lviv but Lwow because this is very beautiful, old Polish city :)
And Poland also have part of Germany in the west because this is compensation for war. Germany didn't pay any money to Poland after WW2
It looks like Lemberg. Nothing Polish there. It was named Lviv(Lvov) by ukrainians in early Middle Ages.
Please, I want another video like this!

maybe you should look, who built the Opera House or who located University of Lwów?
@Sarmatan Lehitus Habsburg Empire. Galicia region.
@Sarmatan Lehitus Territories of ex-Kyivan Rus' were part of the Commonwealth. It wasn't represented in the monarchy, but was strong militarily.

Old polish city
Lviv is Ukrainian city.
***** and Poland got parts of Germany back in return , so we just elave it at that
***** Lviv is founded by Danilo Halitskiy which was a prince of the Kievan Rus' so deal with it this is a Ukrainian city!

Polish Lwów. Polski Lwów na Wieki!
ITS A CLEAN CITY.
russia and ukrain are amazing
no Lviv -LwówPolish city
We get it, it's Polish.
Jaki brudny Sajgon zrobili z naszego biednego Lwowa.
Ale ciągle jeszcze można by go uratować - wystarczy przyłączyć do Polski.
All this polish architecture rots because of the ukrainian poverty
