I've watched a half dozen videos about the lower and lean method, and yours is the first one that made it really clear. Thank you for walking us through step by step!

One question, if you lower and lean the plants, eventually the plant will be leaning far from where its base is. This makes sense for plants in the middle, where they can be leaned either left or rught, but where do the plants on the ends lean? Back towards the middle?

In my case I move the plants in one direction. The end plant gets looped around the end post and goes the opposite direction. I keep doing this every week or so, once a plant reaches the last hanging spot then loop around the post and go back the opposite direction. The goal is to keep the fruits & leaves from touching the ground. Hope my explanation was understandable.

That makes total sense. Thank you for replying! I've got my setup built just like yours now, all the way down to the zip ties and key rings, which is such genius way to rig this up. I've already gotten compliments from family about how great the structures look. Hopefully this system will help to keep my plants from succumbing to all the fungal diseases we typically get here! Thank you again!

This video is very informative. Unfortunately, I cannot find the video you mentioned to learn how to set up this trellis system. Could you please share the link?

@@PhillySpecialI see that you didn’t do video and I am modeling yours and the person you tagged. They didn’t use the ring tho. Did the ring work well for you and what type of ring it is? I’m having a hard time finding it. Thank you!
