Felt little Overdramatic video. Its not that tough to pronounce the name. Can understand it was first time but again and again pretending to forget the names was really cringe to be honest. I love himadri but this video disappointed me a lot.
I watch both of ur videos and i like u guys! But I am a Maharashtrian from Mumbai, so just putting it out there as an info to anybody who wants to have a little bit of knowledge about those foods…
-The kokum serbat can be made sweet, sour , or both mixed.(correctly said that it can be consumed as a palatte cleanser but it can also be drunk as a substitute for nimbu pani in hot days.
-The sol kadi is originally supposed to be consumed with fish or seafood thats how the taste enhances of both the seafood as well as the sol kadhi. And it can also be made sour or wid a pinch of sweetness in it. This is also a palette cleanser.
-For the vada pav, pav is originally from Mumbai. It was first made in old Bombay.(maybe thats y u can taste it different from any other state in India) And the vada stuffing/bhaaji is common in all Maharashtrian households, we make a simple bhaaji out of it on most occasions.
-For the piyush, u guys wer almost correct that it tastes like srikhand. Because it is actually srikhand and lassi whisked together and its a Maharashtrian/Gujrati drink. And also, its not like Srikhand came to Maharashtra as u mentioned in the video. Especially Maharashtrian brahmins used to consume it since the ancient times, so we too had it as the rest of India had it !
-‘Kothimbir’ literally means dhaniya , that means its a vadi or vada made from dhaniya. And its made as its made, maybe u had a not so good tasting one, but we love it!
-Thalipeeth doesn’t mean thali ko pitna, thali is a plate or thali in Hindi as well as Marathi language, and ‘peeth’ means ‘flour’ in Marathi, hence thalipeeth coz its made by tapping the flour on a plate and then cooked on a tawa/pan. And also, the flour can b anything from grains, legumes, lentils, etc. its customisable. And thus, can be a very nutritious and healthy meal.
I only wrote this for sharing what it actually is or means for the names/ taste. It may or may not sound harsh, if it does, I apologise. Sorry for such a long comment! And i love how both of u wer saying the word ‘puranpoli’ 😂❤️ But love ur work, urs and Shalini’s ✌🏼

Western dishes ka naam pucho toh tote ke tarha bolna shuru hojate hain yeh log aur apne hi traditional foods ka naam nahi bola jaa raha hai itna bhi modern maat bano didi ki tradition hi bhul jao 😬
It's solkadhi, puranpolii, kokum sharbat.....misal is breakfast chole puri jesa hota he misal pav... Breakfast item....
I love the overall video❤ But the best part was when Himadri was explaining about misal & Shalini was just waiting to eat like when she will end & I can eat 😅😅😅 I just love how their vibes match with each other. Himadri is always expressive but the way Shalini is comfortable with Himadri, I am pretty sure they have the best bond.❤ All the best, both of you 🤗😍

Hi very nyc video... its really good yourll tried maharashtrain food ... but wanted to guide you since i m a maharashtrain ... @shalini you can have thalipeeth with sweet dahi or salted dahi it tasted good...and you can try kothimbir vadi with green chutney or tomato ketchup... @ himadri sol kadi is good digestion drink it should be drank after your meal when you have eaten every thing it taste good after you have eaten heavy non vegetarian meal .. and if you get to eat puran poli again please try it by dipping the puran poli in milk and eat it ... milk enhances it flavour ... hope you will enjoy it in future as well.. loved the video and love you both ...❤
