This version for the Wii U really utilises the gamepad. It's pretty cool how you can do so much with a simple tap
Imo WiiU and nintendo version better than os4,xbox and PCZ
Great game. The best version is this Wii U version for sure. Shame the Wii U didn't take off because this is one of the best most innovative platformers I've ever played.

Nintendo, this game is no longer an exclusive and is now coming in September. Nintendo, please make a new game. Get a 3rd-party game, please. I need a shoulder to cry on right now, Ninty.
This game is amazing! I played the whole demo last night. It has got to be about 10 times better than I would have thought!
Holy Crap! The animation look so sick! Its almost like I am watching a Disney film and a very awesome one at that.
Technically, Rayman 4 would be Rayman Raving Rabbids.
Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends are more along the lines of reboots.
As for the release date of Legends? It was supposed to be February 26, but the execs at Ubisoft had a fantastic idea to delay it to September, since they're also bringing the game to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

This game is getting a launch day demo on the eShop! GET HYPE!
My theory about singleplayer is the gamepad being the first control and at the same time being the Murphy player.
The demo for this will be out on December 13th.

If you're feeling retro, stick to it (well, seeing as you have your dreamcast already hooked up, you seem content) This Wii U controller is good in my opinion and hopefully this game won't take full advantage of the screen to make it interfere with the button controls. It looks good, IMO.
I dont know if people realized it yet but this game is one of the best games so far for WiiU.. WiiU day one buy for me.

This game is awesome. I just played it today in Sarnia at EB Games/GameStop in the Lambton Mall and it was so much fun. Wii U definitely is a system encouraging coop play and so if you don't like that well then this system is not for you. The graphics were amazing. I really am ticked I cancelled my preorders for the system but the release date was too soon and I had no money til the 20th. Oh well.
As for people looking to make huge money off reselling these systems it should be easy.

@ToadProductionINC Yeah, it's npgonna be in the "launch window," from what I've heard. The only launch titles are Nintendo Land and the new Mario.

Why do you think that makes it automatically restricted? Doesn't more control options in a game take away restrictions? Doors were opened in this game, not closed.

This looks cool, but I have one major issue.
If you have to look at and touch the touchscreen the whole time, what's the point of having a TV for this game? It seems a bit silly/annoying.

The touchpad is actually supposed to be an important part of this system. If you think it is silly and annoying seriously don't consider buying a Wii U.
Finally, a good decision. I'd hate to see the game made worse just so it'd work on previous generation consoles. I hate how that's going on right now and games don't reach their potential just so they could work on outdated hardware.

I love the wii U, but the way nintendo is advertizing it focuses on the controller WAY TOO MUCH. To the point where a bunch of people don't even know its a new system, just another controller for the wii...

No, the point of gaming is to have fun doing something you enjoy. I don't enjoy fucking around with touchscreens while I game. If Nintendo misses that point their sales will suffer immensely.

None. I'm just sick of all the gimmicky controls like shake your arm or slide your finger. That's why I still have my Dreamcast set up in front of my TV. But if you look at the game-play, Its slid your finger. Don't get me wrong Raymans beast (Like the the one on the Dreamcast) I'd love to get this game, If its not swipe your finger like Temple Run. I just want a real controller.
